An excellent career. Did his bit for us.
Thank you and enjoy your retirement.

If VAR had been around in his season with Burnley in the top flight, he'd have had a very good haul. I think there were 4 or 5 goals that season that were ruled out for offside, but he was onside.

Had a good season for us in tandem with David Nugent.

One of the best first touches I've seen on a player. Wish he'd stayed longer
Good career though

Always feel like he played longer for us than just the one season

He was an excellent signing and was instrumental in us looking reasonably comfortable before Coyle left. The injury he then picked up playing for Scotland which sidelined him for several games was actually crucial as it coincided with us starting to sink badly if I remember rightly.

Really good player, you could tell he was a real 'level up' from the signings we'd made previously. Strong and had a great touch. Did have a very good career but could perhaps argue it could have been even better with the ability he had.

He certainly had plenty of ability but I always thought that he needed several chances before he could put one of them in the net.

Very shrewd signing by Coyle
He was actually born in Shrewsbury, are all players that were born in Shrewsbury, shrewd signings?
