This guy is quality as he tells you as it is without a care for wot anybody thinks. The stuff he gets away with is unreal

Yes he stated 20 yrs back that saville was a pedo. All came out eventually. This guy must swear every 3 words. Haha

I'm with Mr Castro on this one.

It's not big, and it's not clever.

Certainly not funny IMO.

You'd never get a comic like Sadowicz on that safe crappy smug fest that is 'live at the Apollo'

Just poorer watered down copies like Frankie Boyle.

I had the pleasure of seeing Jerry last Friday in Manchester - he is certainly not for the faint hearted or liberal minded - very funny indeed though.

been one of the best in the business for years. he even had his own telly show in the 90s - the pall bearer's revue.

the real joke though is that the grim likes of micky flanagan, russell howard and michael mcintyre are huge stars whereas few people have heard of sadowitz.

and since the ross/brand furore mainstream british comedy has become even more sanitised.

Very harsh to lump Flanagan in with the other two tbh.

All the aforementioned, good though they may or may not be, pale into insignificance
beside the late, great Bill Hicks.

Genius.

Talking of comedians does anyone remember the name of a TV comedian in the 60s or 70s whose punch line was something like "scoop" after every gag ?

Might be wrong but think he may have had a Rochdale connection.

JS is a true comedy legend (I'm not using the term lightly) he's magic is also very very good . Seen him twice and wasn't quite as good last time round but still high quality .

Defo not for ur mummsies Michael macintye types that's for sure (though peter Kay can be very naughty indeed without actually swearing )

Only guy I can think of with a Rochdale connection is the Rochdale Cowboy himself, Mike Harding. More 70's I would have said.
