I didn't realise the close season was over already. We went for a walk with the dog on Saturday morning and got to St Georges playing field in Baxenden and saw a lot of pretty decent cars parked up on the car park, only to be confronted by the sight of Accrington Stanley turning up for a training session (they are taking over the place apparently). I remember thinking what are they doing here (and on Saturday morning)? It'll be kick off before we know it.
Needless to say our Charlie the Staffy couldn't go for his mad run because of these damn professional footballer types using his field.
