A new season full of hope.
The Mighty Clarets are up for it and so is our latest re-signing, our Madge.
Here is Madge to set the scene and raise our Hope's skywards.
Up the Clarets.
(Had to pull in a lay by to do this! 6.8m to Turf Moor!)

A good afternoon to everyone , it feels like years since we were last here but game time is with us once again . So it cloudy , windy , and the odd shower so that's the weather report from here in Galway .
Love to be at the Turf today but hope to watch as much as i can from a stream .
Enjoy everyone .

Taylor got a knock? Vydra not even making the bench, yet two central defenders in there...

I think it's clear that he isn't to be fair, otherwise he'd have made the bench.

If Vydra cant get on the bench ahead of a 2nd centre half / 3rd defender than we are clearly still one short in the attacking department.
Not a problem today and in the early part of the season but may be an issue as the season goes on when the full squad becomes more important

Loyal to the team that finished last season well, (apart for Taylor for obvious reasons) just the way SD does things.
That bench though, shows you how far we've come.

Drinkwater won't get in until he's proven his fitness to the coaching staff.
It was exactly the same when Barton signed.
If he turns out half as good a signing as that then we'll all be happy.

Weather going to play a part in this for sure. It’s wild....
Hope to see a couple of long shots to test their keeper first up.

You should see some of the neanderthals on Twitter. One tweeted, "Send Drinkwater back", because he didn't make the bench.

Parked up long way from ground.
Tipping down!
Nonetheless, there will be a spring in my step!

Worried that we will be over run in midfield and their attack looks pretty rapid. If I was playing against our defence that is exactly the type of formation I would go for. Let's see. Fingers crossed

If it's true that he put in a transfer request, it's probably a wise decision not to have him included today.

Having to give the Lounge in Benalmadena a miss today, struggling with a Spanish tummy bug. Will still be able to watch it at home. Happy with the team selection, would like to see Jayrod on for more than the last few minutes. Would like to be a couple up at half time to ease my nerves. Coyc...
