Leg Break

Post by Chesterthedog » Thu Nov 07, 2019 10:37 am

Not a cricket thread. Heard a rumour one of our players broke his leg earlier this week. Anyone heard anything similar? Or has someone confused it with the Everton player. Happened Monday apparently...

Not heard anything...though thats nothing new with us. Not meant in a bad way, just how we keep things in house until people need to know.

If it is true at a guess I would say either Mee or Tarks. Only reason is the article in one of the local papers about this weekend being a possible chance for Gibson to stand up. Thought a bit strange at the time that they would think Dyche would drop a Centre half. So maybe they know more than us. Or maybe they are clueless too and just filling column inches

I think the Gibson story will have more to do with us conceding seven goals in the last two matches.

Great news on Wood - amusing to see Sean refer to Drinky ..... or is that just my weird sense of humour ?

18 in 11 isn't great. Shows what we all know, we aren't defending well enough.

Maybe not Bill but we are on track for 40+ points

12 points from 11 games = 41+ points after 38 games :D :D

No doubt someone will tell me its 41.545454545454 points :D :D :D (which it actually is ;))

Footballs about points gained ...
You win matches or draw matches to get points...

Posession, Xg Xga ... Shots on target off target means nowt.... Its about winning matches and getting points :D

Like I say, we know we are not defending as well as we might, but we seem to be scoring a few more.
This is OK as long as the goals we score earn points.
