No really, you have to

(from one of their forums)......
Burnley are a horrible horrible team as well. Ashley Barnes is a Grade A ****.
Hand on heart I would still rather get relegated as we are than stay up and have to support that Burnley team every week.
I will happy dance on their grave if they ever go into administration.

It is inevitable. Today was their cup final. They have just beat Norwich to get their first win & probably expected to brush little old Burnley aside.

Funny you should say that

....
Burnley are a horrible, nasty team. Just constant shithousing and we’re unable to capitalize against a team there for the beating.
Up the shithouses

Hand on heart I would sooner watch our beloved Burnley in the Premier League then support an Italian franchise of mis matched mercenaries watched by fans who dress in a 1970s Elton John style of loud clothes sporting tattoos of the inventor of route one football Graham Taylor in the championship.

I think its brilliant the way we get up the noses of other fans.
Especially when we beat em.

Have I still got time to step in as a late substitute for him then?

On a further point, can we all take off our hats in a moment of solitude and remembrance for the poor Burnley fans at this sad time. Today was utterly desperately depressing from their side and their fans endure that every week. From the time wasting after 2 minutes, the kicking the ball away at every opportunity, the fake walking to take a throw in or free kick only to walk away for someone else to take it, the falling over and rolling around in agony every couple of minutes.
As bad as our situation is, their fans have to watch that every week and I actually found myself feeling sorry for them. Even when they were singing at 1-0 up, you could see their souls had been utterly destroyed and it was more signing for their very existence as human beings rather than enjoyment of their teams position. At least they get to stay in the Premier League I guess. Hopefully that can keep their depressing lives as Burnley football fans going... for another week at least.

Great to see and taste the tears of beaten opponents' fans. All the bitterness doesn't hurt one iota, love to see it. Feck em.

I suspect we may see Watford, Norwich and Southampton face the drop this season, although I'd prefer Brighton to go, rather than Norwich ...
If West Bromwich Albion, Preston and ( at a stretch ) Leeds replaced them, I wouldn't shed any tears ...
