Flintoff retiring in 2009 has probably counted against him.

Mo on form would offer more with both bat and ball,Mo's got 5 test centuries to his name,Swann's a great bowler but offers nowt with the bat,
Depends on the conditions,on a spinning track you'd probably pick both and leave out one of the seamers,most likely Finn,horses for courses,

Hard to leave out The Sledgehammer of Eternal Justice but all the others were pretty easy choices.

Hadn’t realised but did suspect it would be close.
