Caught you out, Mr Serious. You'll be quoting the Orient game next.
Yeah, your post was so so witty that I fell off my chair laughing!

Surprisingly for me I have recently found difficulties with my relationship with BFC.
We have been together for over 34 years now, some challenging times and some amazing times.
I will be there on Saturday, we will get through this together.

It's on the telebox at 4.31 am, like the Villa game, zero chance I'll be getting up for it

6/1 seems to be slightly generous odds for The Posh to win tomorrow imo

I’m not going on and I’ll be telling everyone I can about it as it seems the new trendy thing to do.

Out of interest why don’t people like the 12.30 (or 12:31 in this instance) kick off? I quite like getting the game done earlier and leaving more of the afternoon and evening free.
It absolutely depends on where you live. Fine if you can just amble downhill to the Turf. Many people have substantial journey times.

It does seem strange that burnley fans want to tell everyone that they are not going. The ones who say they won't renew their season ticket because of VAR really take the biscuit. Don't renew, that's your choice, but come up with a better excuse than that.

No, I need a break from watching Burnley.
I hope the 2nd string but a decent performance in though and try and pass the ball about.

Recently moved to an hour and half journey to play a cup match which we won’t care about is too much for me. Probably find a stream and watch it though.

Kick off time + Lincoln, Sunderland, Accrington, Port Vale....
Dyche doesn’t do cups, so neither do I now.

I can't make it tomorrow but I'm of a generation that still loves the FA cup and I still dream we can go on and win it and hopefully stuff Newcastle on the way and avenge 1974

I love the FA Cup but will miss tomorrow, it's normally 5 hours in the car round trip so we weighed up everything and the early kick off with Villa and the performance and the likely 2nd choice players playing and the likelihood of a cup upset all just tipped us over the edge to a No!!

Simply just can’t be bothered and I only live 25 mins away. My parents are going but I’ll try to get a stream. Did the same for Barnsley at home last season.

I think its a fair reason, I know my Grandad who has watched most of his life has had enough of it and I honestly don't think he will renew for that reason. Its nothing to do with results, he just said its taken the enjoyment out of it for him. Football in his opinion needs controversial decisions, you win some you lose some its what makes it the game it is.

It is bizarre on a thread asking if your not going on that people are discussing not going on. I cannot put my finger on it.

No pressure of The Premier League, hopefully a proper cup tie, and then the draw..............Fleetwood away next please!

That's the point, why have a thread to gloat that you're not going to a game, it's just really weird, only burnley fans could do this

Stupid kick off time, means I can’t do the 50 mile journey. One car can’t be in two places at once and helicopter not available either

I have to use Northern Rail
Enough said
Paid £12 return tickets for Villa game
Decided not to go and watch on my daughters 50 inch TV instead
Wise choice as second train was 10 minutes late and would have got in Manchester Road at 1 pm missing first half

Bit unfair to criticise Northern fail when they would have got you there eventually on the same day, that is quite good for them

Not attending but probably would have taken my 7 year old grandson on for his first FA Cup game had I not been on a long pre-booked brewery tour and overnight stay near Pickering tomorrow.
Will have to make do with updates from Livescore and the matchday thread on UTC instead.

Think they're playing a video. Kevin Ellison from Morecambe is involved, he's doing some brilliant work with mental health.

I am not sure that there is a reason why I would go to this.
Poor performances, appalling cup record, extra costs.
Will save the money for Chelsea !

Thought I hadn't been to a cup game since Stanley away but I went to the first City game as it was a tenner and a mates birthday so went boozing in town. Can't see me going to a cup game again unless it's the later rounds or might be a fun away trip.

Seeing the Wimbledon coach go past and me putting up ten fingers and thumbs, not twelve, I'm a Nelsoner, to signify the score still haunts me.
Shan't be going on Saturday, three x 230 mile round trips in not so many days is too much. We'll smash them 10-0....

We’ll be there, along with our son and his two boys. The three year old hasn’t been to a football game before. Time he was exposed to the ups and downs of being a Claret! The six year old gets teased at school for being a Burnley fan, but still says we are the best team in the world. Good brain-washing skills, eh?
