Two years ago we were four points ahead and if we beat Derby we'll be two points behind where we were after 28 matches.
It's all coming together nicely!

If nothing else, it shows how much things can change in 2 years.
Leicester are challenging for the Premier League Title,
Yeovil are fighting to stay in the Football League!
One Constant - We are still above all our friends from down the M65.

From that table Leicester looked uncatchable but we got pretty close towards the end of the season. Makes me wonder how uncatchable Middlesbrough are, they'll be going some to keep up their current points per game all season.

we need to beat derby and hull to give ourselves a real chance, 4 points behind but we went on a fantastic run from now until the end of the season 2 years ago.

Can history repeat itself?? If we go on a similar run to last time then I think we will be very unlucky not to go up as champions (again). I think 13 wins (or the equivalent points) should see us promoted.

I had no idea Yeovil had fallen as far as that.

Have I just time travelled?
Edit: turns out I'd just managed to find my way onto page 276.

My grip on reality is poor enough as it is. Please don't confuse me by resurrecting threads

Especially when it's comparing Championship tables, when we're in the Premier League. We must be 4 points ahead now than what we were 2 seasons ago.

Always good to know how far we have come.
Have I worked it out correctly, the table above is from 2013/14 season?

It was that season when Derby were exspected to get promotion, their fans were really arrogant before the season started, and in the second half of the season they blew it big time. That should narrow it down for you.
Oh, hang on ...

Actually when I read the OP I thought for a moment that we were only 4 points off where we were when we last got relegated!

Well, he does post "Two years ago we were four points ahead and if we beat Derby we'll be two points behind where we were after 28 matches".
Two years ago we were in the Premier League.
