Big match today. Newcastle fans will be willing their team on, from the kick off. If we get off to a flyer, all their efforts will focus on Ashley and Beuxe!
Madge is fired up and calls upon us all to do our bit for the lads.
Come on you Clarets

I think we all feel that Vydra has earned his place today. I fully expect the same team with Wood on the bench in place of JBG.

Happy to see Wood on the bench to give his hamstring time to recover. I would like to see us in a position though to bring him and Brownhill on for a run out.

Looks like Newcastle are playing 2 upfront. For all the stick Bruce has had about being negative I expect them to have a real go at us today. Vydra's pace on the break could cause them a real problem.

Looks like the home team has been picked by pardew.
The bench looks as strong as the starting line up. It will be embarrassing if gayle scores against us.
Lejeune and schar, St maximim not starting. Good chance of points for us.
Meanwhile in Merthyr, the players have warmed up in a hailstorm.....

Been pretty bloody good away all season.
That at Old Trafford, with a few minutes to go, in a near empty stadium must have been sweet.

Newcastle have the lowest possession in the Prem. We're second lowest.
Does this mean the referee and ball boys will have the ball more than usual?

Hendrick lost possession 4 times in first 14 mins in positions when he should have had composure but just passed to the opposition on 3 of them.
