anyone recognise the mascot

Post by Beehole67 » Sat Apr 11, 2020 2:39 pm

I've always liked this shot of Ray Deakin setting up penalties for the games mascot just before kick off, but does anyone recognise the mascot?. I think this was the match against Doncaster in 89/90 season but sadly my filing system was far from perfect. Back then people would ask me to take a pic before the match but unlike today with social media I'd rarely see them again. I remember the Wrexham away game 90/91 and the mascots for the two teams were cousins and few years back I was able to share them the images some 20 odd years later via facebook. :)

This would make a good caption competition:

Deakin: "what you need to do, young man is slice the ball straight into the Bob Lord".
