I've ended up getting a G-tech 2.0 they currently have £200 off. Part of the reason was that they offered a 30 day trial, use it as many times as you like within that period and return it should it not be suitable. It arrived this morning, having set it up I really don't like it, even before I try it, very long, very numb and very plastic. It's far too big for me. Just rang them and they have arranged to come and pick it so it's back to the drawing board. The problem with these cordless is that there are very few retailers that actually have them on show in order to try, the majority are all on line. I'm a bit old fashioned in that I like to look and try the product before I buy.

I bought a John Deere petrol mower in 2003 and it is still going strong

Bosch cordless mowers are very good and are (surprisingly) made in the UK (not China).

I didn't in the end as I really need to try one or at least look at one in the flesh. The one I was going to buy that had one of the best write ups was the greenworks, I'm not good at adding links but on page 1 post 15 "firthy" he's put the model and link on there. If I do go for it I'd look at two batteries. I'm still using the electric flymo but It's doing my head in, hopefully at some point when we can get out I'll look at a few models.

Bosch cordless mowers are very good and are (surprisingly) made in the UK (not China).

I have a Bosch Rotak now, as a cabled mover it’s fantastic and great for stripes with the built in roller.
I will probably end up with one of their cordless range.

I think they're a very good mower and it had a good write up.its one I fancied but It's around another £100 more than I wanted to pay but I agree you get what you pay for. I'd be looking at the smallest version,say 33cm. If you do get one I'd love to know what you think of it.

Let me spend a few more days trying to justify a new mower!

It takes me around 75 minutes to cut the grass so invested in a petrol Honda beast , works very well .
