What are you like?

Even with the Scores, you can't get a full house

Scores

It goes down to the wire in the Brian O'Neil. Buxton only needs a draw to take the title. (Perhaps we should insist on e-mailed entries !)

The Ralph Coates is simpler.
Congratulations to Bobinho who has done a Liverpool and managed to win the League before the end of the season. ANOTHER Cup for the mantlepiece

Tables

Mr TopTier's amazing run continues, albeit at the expense of a "no-show". He must be ruing his poor form in the first half of the season !

9 in a row, from relegation certainty to Champion's League. What a season, got super lucky today though.

Don't know what happened, the time is right, when I checked it didn't show any results, even when I checked that it had posted ok, it didn't show that you'd already posted the results.
I think my mobiles in a time warp

By that I mean 5.38 was the time I posted.

Not sure my depleted squad can get to California right now at such notice.
It's pretty tough there right now also.
Can we agree a 9 -9 draw?

Have to feel sorry for Dazzler and Oldclaret scoring 6 and losing, worse than a kick in the proverbial. At least my defence is finally coming good so I didn't suffer the same fate. Luck of the draw comes to mind

To prevent any unwarranted allegations of "match fixing", our head of Security, Slap Better, seriously suggests e-mail for the next round of games and subsequent games in the Knock-out stages. And "Slap" as we prefer to call him, knows all about match-fixing and the brown envelope brigade !
Worried about security? Set up an e-mail account that you only use for this purpose; it's easy to do.

Just out of interest, Ralphie - to your knowledge, have two brothers ever before finished in the bottom two places?
And did Claretblue really win 5-0 the other week? - I'm only now recovering from the shock...

We once had a husband and wife duo who came 3rd and 4th. Husband never really got over being beaten by his other half and banned her from taking part again. He only spent two weeks in intensive care

ClaretBlue did win 5 - 0 against Rubstuds who failed to appear. Anyone in contact with Rubstuds? Are they OK?

Re: ***SPOT THE BALL*** Game 20
Time for MOTD Producers to pick their venues for their cameras for Game 21 matches.
Some intriguing games starting tomorrow.
In the Brian O'Neil, Buxton, Bin Ont Turf and ClaretBurns all slug it out for that top spot. Buxton only needs a point but Clansman could do with the points to escape the "Wild Card" play-offs. In many respects, the fight to get above position 15 is as great as winning the League itself. These are the teams "in the mix" to avoid the play-offs:
Nonayforever, Steve1956, Clansman, ClaretDavid, Sausage, Bertiebeehead,GiveusaB and GreenParrot.
With the stakes so high, cameras will be at the Burns household (AGAIN), at Buxton and BinOntTurf.
In the Ralph Coates, the title has already gone to Bobinho (Canned cheers ring around an empty stadium), but there is a lot to play for lower down around position 15. These are the teams in the mix:
SteveF, Sproggy, HunterST, JDRobbo, BigF, Wilks and Africlaret. The cameras with be with JDRobbo as he takes on BigF in a nail-biting 6-pointer. A draw could be good enough (possibly) but my guess is that they will need to go for the win.

HOT OFF THE PRESS
Wild-Card Play-Off draw has been made
Using numbers, we now know who will play whom (ish).
We just need to know who is assigned to the numbers
For the first Play-Off game, no one will play another team from the same League. Slap Better is working on a scheme to fiddle the draw for the End of Season Play-Offs.
