Claret Match day Programmes...worth anything?

Post by nuttersuclan » Mon Oct 26, 2020 4:00 pm

Hey all. I have 600+ claret programmes from 58/59 onwards that I need to shift (they take up a lot of space!). Are they worth anything?

Most are from 1998 to 2008. There are several for friendlies and other rarities.

Highlights include;
- 1968 FA Youth Cup final home and away legs v Coventry
- 1970 Texaco cup v Hearts
- 1988 Sherpa Northern final v PNE
- 1990 Stafford Rangers away FA cup
- 1992 post season friendly v Ajax
- 1992 autoglass final home and away legs v Stockport
- 1994 play off v Plymouth
- 1994 lanc youth cup final v Man U
- 1997 fa cup v Liverpool
- 2003 fa cup QF v Watford

I honestly have no idea if programmes hold much value, so if anyone here knows I'd be grateful for some insight! Thanks in advance.

eBay has killed it a bit selling wise as the market is now flooded .. pre-65 stuff might be worth listing on here .. the ones you’ve picked out above are worth very little aside from the Cov youth cup games and in truth both legs are easy enough to find ...

How have I quoted you twice ? 🤔😂 technophobe I’m afraid ...

Thanks for that. Yeah, I figured it wasn't exactly a gold mine. I may just try and sell the lot as a bulk collection as there aren't many 60s ones really.

I seem to have almost every programme from 2000 to 2008 though!
