I dont think i worded it great pal,i was transferring from Lambert Howarths to Lambert Howarth on the island,we flew from Liverpool in what i remember as something out of the ark ..propellers, Leather seats and if my memory serves me right a curtain separating the Captain from the passengers....oh and the most ugly stewardess ive ever had the misfortune to clap eyes on  ,am i right in saying the flight is about 25 mins?
Yeah, it’s quicker for me door to door that driving to the office in Gloucester, I could easily imagine living there to be honest. Literally little to no crime, nobody even locks there cars or house doors, some even leave the keys in. I was hours away from the move before o got a phone call offering me another job which at the time turned out to be double money! Crap quality of life though so only did a few years and packed it in

You can seriously mistake the Manx accent for scouse. It is a number of years since I lived there but certainly weren't many scousers there then, and since it is not easy to get a work permit on the island they don't get many unskilled workers going there. The biggest number used to be from Southern Ireland coming to the islan for summer jobs.

Pretty much spot on. The only worry you'd have if you left your car windows down would be if it rained. I worked at the Prison for 28 years and most of the inmates were in for alcohol and drug related offences. Virtually no car theft or house burglaries over here because they have nowhere to go on a small island and always get caught.

Fantastic place to bring up children, good schools and very safe. Kids can happily walk to school on thier own in safety. Only downside is a lack shopping, nightlife, football matches, shows etc. but if you're into walking, sports, pets, drinking beer and watching TV then it's a fantastic place to live.
