Re: Today's Football 10-1-21
I think this season needs to be considered differently, for example Derby were riddled with Covid and HAD to field kids, otherwise they had to forfeit the match
Re: Today's Football 10-1-21
Is Hessenthaler the son of the ex Gillingham player (and player/boss) Andy Hessenthaler
Yes just answeeed my question on TV

Re: Today's Football 10-1-21
From wiki - Hessenthaler is the son of former Gillingham player and manager Andy Hessenthaler, the nephew of Darren Hare, who has worked as the club's youth team manager, and the cousin of former Gillingham teammate Josh Hare.[18]

Re: Today's Football 10-1-21
The FA Cup died the year Man - Utd pulled out of it deeming it not important enough a competition.....tin pot since ..no one tries anymore till unfortunately they find them selves in the last four and decide to try a little harder.Top Claret wrote: ↑Sun Jan 10, 2021 3:06 pmHow can anyone take the competion seriously anymore when we struggle to beat the likes of MK Dons and Leeds get thrashed at Crawley.
Most clubs outside the top two leagues find the competition a nuisance that gets in the way of their league campaigns, thus their reasons for feilding weakened sides

Re: Today's Football 10-1-21
If Leeds lose 3-0, will this be the heaviest defeat ever for a Premier League Club, by a 4th Division ( Tier 3 ) Club ?

Made his fame and fortune, does an half decent job on Heart radio and is lucky enough to play in the FA Cup for the first time at 33.
Plus he's got a fit wife.
Wish I'd followed his career path

Wouldn’t have minded that had we been able to go. I’m missing one new ground this Wednesday with the youth cup match at Plough Lane.

They were knocked out by Colchester in 1971 when that Revie team was at its pinnacle but let's not shout too loudly given our record as a top flight team at home against non-league opponents (Wimbledon and Lincoln).
