Been posted several times - has to be there to prevent unwanted visitors. Nothing that we can do.

Not had this issue, but would changing your IP address solve this?

I went through all the rigmarole of submitting my IP and getting it removed. Made no difference, so gave up.
I can only post on Wi-Fi, but it seems I can 'like' posts on my mobile connection.

A VPN does this but I presume you don’t have one. Otherwise, it may be possible to do through your router settings. I’ve assigned IP addresses to devices on my office network but never had to do so at home.

You can change your IP addy with a VPN. If you're already using a VPN that could be the prob. When you eventually get to log on can you not just stay logged in all the time?

When I log on to here,I just never log off, somebody boots me off though, thought if it was inactive for a certain amount of time you get logged off automatically

My mobile has been blocked for the past four or five months. I did go through the process of emailing them but nothing changed.
This is the only site where I have the issue.

If you’re on a mobile, knock it onto aeroplane mode and then switch back on again.

I had it again this week, again only affects my mobile.
I've never got in touch with anyone, the first time it happened I wasn't sure it wasn't a scam. Anyway after a couple of days it always sorts itself out

It happens on my mobile too. I have to employ a VPN on such occasions. Irritating.

"Touchwood" never been affected (yet) I wouldn't hazard any guesses as to why you and others get hit with it though

Although in your case Old Nick downstairs cos you're a definite wrong-un (Well thats what that Tim-Bob keeps telling every one)

Just testing again to see if I've been cleared yet, been locked out all week.
It's a pita when you write a long post only to have it rejected when you submit it because schithaus has struck again .
I've never gone on their site to question it, and it normally just lets me post again after a couple of days. Only ever affects my mobile, never the computer. It would be a tad more bearable if they actually told you why you are blocked, because it definitely isn't because of any weird sites I go on.

Hi CC it's ok when you have a PC to fall back on,I only ever post from my phone so when this site blocks my IP that's it...no UTC fix for me,its not good.

I think subnets are banned. If you're on the same subnet as somebody correctly banned, you can be included.
But from what I can tell, there's an option to turn this off on phpBB boards, if the mods wanted to do it.

It's basically stopped me posting on the board. I only do so now when I have Wifi as it's impossible to otherwise. It's the only site that I can't use and it's a real shame because it means I'm visiting and engaging less.

Typical - it worked on my mobile connection first time, so will need to wait until it randomly decides not to work again, before I can try the airplane suggestion.

Test following plane mode switch.
Result! I always got the sh1thaus site when posting on my phone when not on WiFi. Happened every time. If connected to WiFi then it was fine.
My work phone never had the problem though...
