Can’t remember anything so dire.Top Claret wrote: ↑Sat Feb 20, 2021 4:57 pmWorse ever league performance under Dyche, that was a bloody disgrace
Re: Terrible game
Not sure I said we needed to win at least two games, I do know I said we needed 3 good results, and come the end of the season they may well be..Devils_Advocate wrote: ↑Sat Feb 20, 2021 5:32 pmSo we didnt need to win 2 out of the 3 games and you were just being a bit of a drama queen. Fair enough I'll leave you alone now
If you remember I was all in favour of the side against Bournemouth, so don't see I'd be a drama queen after it
Perhaps you have me mixed up with someone else
Re: Terrible game
Go check to see if I said it
I don't think I did, but might be wrong.... I've better things to do, but you go for it big man.

Re: Terrible game
This. Dyche is a top manager, but we’ve seen this before. A seeming inability to change our approach to take advantage of a situation. Allardyce adapted to the sending off and we didn’t. Even though it was clear it wasn’t working we still didn’t adapt and seemed to just be hoping for something to drop rather than changing our approach to affect the situation.alboclaret wrote: ↑Sat Feb 20, 2021 4:40 pmI can't remember who I was against but we had the same situation once where we couldn't play against 10 men.
This isn't a one off and I think it shows dyche up a bit that he has no other plan or much flexibility
I wouldn’t want that feckless git Allardyce anywhere near our club, but you have to say he showed far more management nouse than Dyche today.

Re: Terrible game
Another goalkeeper who we didn’t trouble.
No getting away from what an awful performance that was.

Re: Terrible game
This hurts. A chance of the semis sacrificed for those results. I could easily live with it if we’d actually won. Palace might be a season saving result.buzzclarets79 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 20, 2021 4:56 pmSo glad we threw away the FA cup game for two shocking home performances against two of the bottom 3.
The happy clappers will be along shortly to defend SD.....

Re: Terrible game
Thats subjective (like how you've labelled someone a drama queen on here tonight) but maybe making out we had to rest players against Bournemouth because we need to win at least 2 out of the 3 league games when you've now admitted we didn't need to win those games could be seen as being a bit of a drama queen,
I'll give you the benefit of the doubt though and just put it down to you getting a little bit carried away with the truth of the situation.
I really dont want to waste your night on this so just accept you were wrong and learn from the experience as life is one long lesson

Re: Terrible game
Brownhill on the wing is like Hendrick at #10. A complete waste brought about by a sheer reluctance to sign a player natural for that position + a few injuries.

Not being sure... Is not denying it....
I've said thanks to da for being that interested and finding the quote
Why you need to get involved I don't know
Re: Terrible game
This is why the majority of fans of other clubs in PL would love to see the back of us. We are consistent though, in being terrible to watch most weeks.

Re: Terrible game
They don’t like us because we take points from them when they consider themselves to be much better than us
When in fact they’re not lol
level headed fans from other teams would say that we were / are worthy winners when we beat them but some posters on some sites are in total denial of this

Re: Terrible game
I think it’s outrageous the way we put that ball across the six yard box today for Jay to nearly score. Clearly not the plan and whoever put it in should have a little talk to himself.
We are tired so don’t try that trick again

Re: Terrible game
It wasn't a terrible game because it never got anywhere close to being that good. We were an utter embarrassment and pathetically p**s poor.
