Chelsea paid £71.6 million for Kepa Arrizabalaga who's been rubbish during his time there.

Lol he's only played a few games and done nothing wrong. Bad at making signings like Ings, Trippier, Tarks, Pope, Westwood, Taylor, Barnes, Gudmonson, Defour, Mee, Lowton, Cork, Heaton, Barton etc basically the players who have put us Premier League for the last 5 years them signings?
Did you really just claim we are good at making signings by mentioning the players we signed 10 years ago?
The last signing out of those you mentioned was Cork, nearly 4 years ago... that is not the sign of being good at signing players
At what point does it become too long ago for you?

Nick Pope cannot go anywhere with my blessing unless we bring in a good keeper far better equipped for the PL than Peacock Farrell

BPF needs a fair crack of the whip.

Whilst deputising for Heaton in the Cup tie v Accy, Pope looked like a pub keeper...I reckon he stepped up just fine when offered the gig on a regular basis.

Nick Pope is genuinely world class, so if he does leave then it should be for a world class fee - certainly for more than £30m.

He would leave with my very best wishes, though. He’s been absolutely outstanding for us.

Agree.
Not sure how anybody is able to judge BPF fairly after just 4 games, 2 of which were against Man City

I think we have to expect and accept that Pope will sit alongside Tarks this summer in so much as he will be greatly in demand, our heads will be turned by huge sums of cash being dangled in front of us and the player himself will see several brilliant opportunities at much bigger clubs. I don't have a problem with it as it's only natural and both Pope and Tarks have been brilliant for us and I don't begrudge either of them their huge move, as long as we have planned appropriate replacements AND get lots of dosh!!

Tom Heaton.

Fits the usual signing criteria. Pal of Dyche, approaching 35, cost under £3,000,000 etc...

Heaton would be fine. However, there are plenty of adequate keepers around. Replacing Tarky would be a different challenge altogether. He is immense .

Some predictability ludicrous over valuations of Pope . He’l be 30 next season and has one good contract left in him. Great keeper but I think it would be remarkable to get anything in excess of 30 m for him . Getting Heaton back would be ok for back up as he’s a high class keeper but injuries can’t be trusted .
