Today’s football 27/02
Man City vs West Ham. Here’s hoping the Irons can upset the Citeh apple cart.
Then it’s West Brom vs Brighton. I’m going for a score draw.
Leeds to beat Aston Vanilla and a home win for Newcastle against Wolves.

Re: Today’s football 27/02
I fancy WH to get something up north. City's run will end soon. 0-0 after 25 mins.
I'd like West Brom to beat Brighton (they can put the chances they missed past the Southern whingers) but above all not an away win.
Will be hoping Wolves get at least a point.

Re: Today’s football 27/02
West Ham have been an impressive for the first half hour.
Coping with the Mancs machine better than most.
Until then.......
Hoping for Baggies/Wolves wins later.

2-1 Citeh. FT. Twenty wins in a row for MC.
Think its too late for WBA tbh, but hopefully they'll see today's game as the last throw of the dice and beat Brighton.

Re: Today’s football 27/02
Just watched the Bournemouth Watford game. Jefferson Lerma for Bournemouth must be the most obnoxious player in football. Blatant cheat, rolling on the floor at every slight touch, then demanding opposing players are sent off. Never forget him when we played at Bournemouth and he was in the referee's face demanding that Ashley Barnes be sent off after Barnes hadn't actually touched the keeper.

Wins for West Brom & Wolves would be very welcome.
And that Cherries win means Rovers are 12 points adrift of the play-offs now with games slipping away.

Re: Today’s football 27/02
Pedro very unlucky to be sent off. He was going down after being fouled and then went into the Bournemouth player. Didn’t look deliberate to me although there might have been some afters.

Re: Today’s football 27/02
I'm not certain, but I seem to recall Lerma had the most bookings in the PL during Bournemouth's relegation campaign, so this behaviour by him doesn't surprise me in the least.Paulclaret wrote: ↑Sat Feb 27, 2021 2:42 pmJust watched the Bournemouth Watford game. Christ Almighty.
I remember when football used to be fun. Joke decision by an absolute joker of a ref who many managers have publicly said is not fit to ref their games.

Re: Today’s football 27/02
Probably not we didn't get the one we should have got last week did we.
Anyway he made a complete horlicks of the kick so no damage down thankfully.
Re: Today’s football 27/02
Penalty all day long. He is trying to grab Burn but punches the ball. I would be livid if we didn't get that.

Re: Today’s football 27/02
VAR is the problem.. Neither ours or the one today were given at the time. Today Mason is asked to look at it, ours wasn't, had it been reviewed iam sure we'd have got it

Re: Today’s football 27/02
Mason complete incompetence.
Re: Today’s football 27/02
This referee is a total shambles.
He shouldn’t be in this profession in any capacity. Unfit and incompetent.

Re: Today’s football 27/02
Mason out of his depth. Disallows a goal saying he hadn’t blown the whistle then over-rules himself and awards it. Madness.
