He's apparently had a bad week and keeps having setbacks but he's still involved in picking the Cheltenham team.

I spoke to the Shrewsbury CEO at the beginning of last week and realised just how bad he was with it. He’d come out of intensive care then but he’s been up and down since.

I’ve merged all the threads.

This isn’t good news at all having to go back into hospital. Really hope he’s going to be ok.

I don't know whether he did or not but knowing Steve as well as I do I suspect that could be the case. I spoke to the Shrewsbury CEO a few weeks ago when he was first admitted and told him to make sure Steve didn't push himself too hard when he got back to work.

A quote from Aaron Wilbraham probably hits the point:

"We keep telling him to relax, but it's very hard to tell a workaholic not to work too hard."

From Wilbraham's interview, he has been diagnosed with pneumonia due to COVID, the hopeful prognosis is back into hospital for a week on a drip and kept under observation, get well soon Steve!

It's his strength and his weakness - he's so intense. When he gets out and starts to recover, he really needs to take some time out from football and not get straight back into it.

Wishing Cotts all the very best. If he's in BRI he's in good hands and the experts there will no doubt be plotting the path for a full recovery.

Not good to hear he's back in hospital, however he's shown in the past how determined he can be, and hopefully that trait will stand him in good stead during his battle with this dreadful virus.

Best wishes in your fight Steve, hope you get well soon, and if you need time to recuperate then take as long as you need.
