Shame about Charlie, but at least after Saturday we've got a few weeks to allow our injured players to regain their fitness for the crucial run in.

Yes I'm afraid we need to show Robbie the door this summer, he's a luxury we can ill afford in our present circumstances, and it's time to let him go, I must admit I was surprised we offered him an extension last year, but I guess that was due to the unique circumstances surrounding the pre-season, and our reluctance to spend on a replacement, And if we do offer him an extension this year then I'll scream louder than Lacazette, the dead wood has to be gotten rid off.

Didn't look good on Saturday. Erik will fit in. Obviously Charlie's number one but Erik has by and large filled in well.

It shows the high regard Dyche has for Taylor but we seem to be rushing him back too soon

I know this is a long shot but maybe just maybe the medical staff have more information at their disposal than someone on a forum who likes to be negative.

Think I will take the clubs side on this one

I don't know why but I feel very comfortable with Erik in the team at Everton.

Precisely why he shouldn't be risked at Everton, this will give him 3/4 weeks to fully regain his fitness before the crucial double header with Southampton and Newcastle.

Of course it would've helped if that Arsenal thug hadn't forced him off the pitch on Saturday.

Erik's one of our most versatile players, and he's got broad shoulders too, which can come in handy at crucial moments.

Shame about Charlie, let’s hope Erik has a quieter game

Shame about Charlie but other than up front, LB is the position we have strongest cover in Pieters.

Gutted about Cork though. He’s such an important player and we need his experience at Everton!!
