Daryl Dike
This kid looks like a special talent.
A young American in the championship performing well. Would appear to tick all the boxes.

I thought it was a local beauty spot I’d never heard of, that was being recommended... oops

Re: Daryl Dike
Daryl Dike is a Tyke
If he was at BFC he'd a a Claret, like
He's at BFC but not BFC
Confusing I know, but bear with me
He was meant to join us but the FA got confused.
It was 1059pm.on deadline day and Dyche wasn't amused.
So there is in Yorkshire instead,
Not in Claret, but a Barnsley red

Re: Daryl Dike
He’s got a lot of Akinbyi about him. Saw him last season for Orlando and physically he just overpowered defenders. It’s pronounced Dee-Kay

Re: Daryl Dike
Mmmm... unfortunately, we rarely pick up anyone that’s been identified on here....
And when we don’t, no doubt if he ends up at Leeds or somewhere and has a half decent season, there will be the usual “told you we should have gone for him” posts.

Re: Daryl Dike
Interesting that he's only on loan and could be recalled.

Re: Daryl Dike
According to Wiki, there is a $20m option to buy with a 20% sell on added.

Re: Daryl Dike
have we actually got $20m to spend on new players - let alone on a forward, a position where we have 4 players under contract and the position our most promising Academy players also fill

Re: Daryl Dike
There is a reason that people scouted on here never get picked up by us lads
I for one can't think why.......

If Barnsley don’t go up, there’s a few there who would be great additions

Don’t think there are many better suited players to Dyches system.

Re: Daryl Dike
I havent seen this lad play but the record transfer fee from the MLS is Almiron for 21 million, next biggest is 14 million so i would be surprised if he was 20 million.

Re: Daryl Dike
Looks a player to me. A bit raw but very quick, can run with the ball & knows where the net is. Sure AP would welcome an American at the club too!
