Were in the wrong league, let's face facts, enjoy for now
Were in the wrong league as the squad stands right now and with old owners / new owners not investing.
And before people say the new owners have only had 1 window well how important will that 1 window be if we go down ? How much will their investment go down in value from Premiership to Championship ??
The age of the squad is dire, the subs bench is dire, part of the playing squad particularly JB and Brady are too injury prone.
The whole thing at the moment is a disaster let's face it. If we go down we deserve to go down die to the lack of investment in the playing squad and the fact from Fulham, West Brom and Newcastle at home we achieved 2 out of 9 points.

1. We will not go down.
2. The powers that be at BFC will be just as aware of our weaknesses - and strengths - as we are.
3. Investment in new players will take the pressure off a squad that has been stretched to breaking point and which has, despite the astonishing pessimism such as yours, managed to survive an incredibly difficult season.
All our relegation "rivals" have spent a damn sight more than us. How do you think they feel ?

We aren't going down this season, why anybody can still have those thoughts baffles me, even if we're being generous and say Fulham collect 3 wins and a draw from their remaining games, they'll still only have 36 points. we have 7 games remaining so can anybody fail to see us getting at least 1 win and a draw, I suspect we'll fare much better as it happens, but even the most pessimistic amongst you can't fear relegation from where we sit surely.

I despair at the mindset of some in here ...tiger76 wrote: ↑Sun Apr 11, 2021 7:23 pmWe aren't going down this season, why anybody can still have those thoughts baffles me, even if we're being generous and say Fulham collect 3 wins and a draw from their remaining games, they'll still only have 36 points. we have 7 games remaining so can anybody fail to see us getting at least 1 win and a draw, I suspect we'll fare much better as it happens, but even the most pessimistic amongst you can't fear relegation from where we sit surely.

Well, we earned the right to be in it,
and if we don't buck up, at some point we'll earn the right to get relegated.
It's as simple as that

Nothing new happening. We just continue to do things "the Burnley way". Don't beat the teams we're supposed to, but get a few unexpected wins against "bigger teams".
