Looks a decent player. Will he be able to make the step up, I’m not so sure.

Re: Glen Kamara
Off the top of my head, John McGinn, Andy Robertson and Kieran Tierney have all found the transition to the PL no problem in recent years.Woodleyclaret wrote: ↑Tue Apr 13, 2021 2:12 pmI'd soon we looked in league 1 it's a much higher standard
Glen Kamara isn't one of the obvious names that jumps out from the Rangers squad, but if SD thinks he can make the step up then he must see something in him.
He on a fairly long contract still 2 years left, and Rangers are trying to tie him down longer, plus Leeds, Southampton and Watford are also being linked, so I'd say our chances of netting him are slim at best.
Re: Glen Kamara
I wish we’d only be linked with players whose names couldn’t be turned into a pun.
What sort of player is Kamara? I’ve seen the odd Rangers game this season - can’t recall Kamara.

We may just be his favourite underdog!tiger76 wrote: ↑Tue Apr 13, 2021 3:52 pmOff the top of my head, John McGinn, Andy Robertson and Kieran Tierney have all found the transition to the PL no problem in recent years.

Re: Glen Kamara
Defensive midfielder perhaps someone in the mould of a Dean Marney, which based on the past couple of games is an area we could certainly do with improving.
Maybe we could got Scotty to put in a good word for us.
Rangers fans value him at £15m, now that to me seems optimistic for a player of his ability plying his trade in the SPL, I'd be surprised if they get more than £8-10m for him. But I suppose if there's a bidding war for his services that might bump up the asking price.

Re: Glen Kamara
He may well look at how things work here and decide that waiting a long term injury to one of the current team before he gets any minutes may not be what he wants to do.
That’s not a criticism by the way, it’s just how things are. We don’t really buy players to go straight into the starting eleven. Come the summer tho, we will need to do just that. We need to improve drastically if we want to stay in this division, and some of the players we currently have are maxed out. They have been performing beyond their limit for a while, and it’s starting to show.
Kamara would I think be a good shout, but if the other clubs want him, they will get him.

Re: Glen Kamara
Could he keep focus long enough in the Premier league to shutter out the opposition I wonder ?

He hasn't had much exposure in the press.

Re: Glen Kamara
Just been given 3 match EUFA ban for assaulting Kudela in the tunnel, post racial insult.
Kudela has been given a 10 match ban, the minimum punishment. Even though EUFA say they have definitive proof of what he said. What a bunch of clowns run football.

Good in a scrap apparently but is he as good as former Burnley star Mo?
