2021/2022 SEASON TICKETS: Phase 1 Renewals
April 10, 2021
All the info you need on the first phase of season ticket holders returning to Turf Moor
We can now offer more information on the phased process for season ticket holders ahead of the 2021/22 season.
Earlier this month, we announced that 2020/2021 season ticket holders who had either paid up-front or completed their 12 month Direct Debit payments, would soon be able to renew for the upcoming 2021/2022 season using monies they have already paid, with no extra costs due.
The following steps will now apply, up until the beginning of next season, when we hope that Turf Moor can welcome back a full crowd of supporters once more.
A return to the stadium, post-COVID, will be slightly different, and we will require a few additional steps from supporters as part of the login process when renewing your ticket.
Please note that once you have completed this process you will have a Single Sign-On account, which will grant you access to not only the ticket website, but can also be used for the retail website as well as a Clarets+ video/audio login, making your future visits across our digital platforms easier than ever before.
Please ensure you follow the step-by-step instructions shown at this link before you renew for the 2021/2022 season.
A full & detailed FAQ section and more information regarding your new Single Sign-on account can be found here - this covers topics such as creating your account, linking/unlinking your account and changing your seat.
Phase 1 – Wednesday 31st March until Friday 23rd April
Existing 2020/2021 season ticket holders will be able to renew their seat/s for the 2021/2022 season.
Please note that you have already paid for a season of football at Turf Moor. When you renew, please ensure you use ‘OnAccount’ as your method of payment and no additional costs will be incurred.
The 2021/2022 season will then be uploaded to your current seasoncard/s so please ensure you keep them safe.
Renew online here
Phase 2 – Monday 17th May until Sunday 23rd May
All 2019/2020 season ticket holders who didn’t renew, or 2020/2021 season ticket holders who cancelled their ticket and claimed a full refund, will have the opportunity to purchase their seats for the 2021/2022 season.
Please note: prices are unlikely to be frozen in this phase. Prices and Direct Debit payment options are currently being finalised and more information will be released in due course.
Phase 3 - Monday 24th May
All the remaining seats in the stadium either not renewed or purchased in phases 1 and 2 will be available as general sale season tickets for the 2021/2022 season.
Prices and Direct Debit options are currently being finalised and more information will be released in due course.
NOTICE:
We continue to adhere to COVID-19 guidelines with staff working from home.
This includes the ticket office, which will remain shut until further notice.
As a result, for any queries please email ticketoffice@burnleyfc.com, and include the full names, Clarets Numbers and email addresses on all accounts being queried.
Matchweek 37 and 38
We are aware of discussions around a return to stadiums for a reduced attendance before the end of the current Premier League season.
This has not yet been confirmed and, as such, we cannot confirm any plans, so we ask supporters to be patient until the club knows more. Once we receive more information, the club will react accordingly.
As always, we would like to thank you for your ongoing support.
As lockdown eases, we continue to hope that it won’t be too long before we see you back here at Turf Moor.

Info released today says the shop is open Monday, promoting the new Longside range, whatever that is

Re: Season Ticket Question
Maybe but Yosser was asking about the Ticket Office, which in your original (then edited) post you said, in reply to me saying that it was closed until further notice, that it was the 12th!
Re: Season Ticket Question
I think you've misread.... I never said the ticket office was open, I've never edited the first post, so read it again. I edited the second only to insert the link. Check with mods if you wish.
Re: Season Ticket Question
My apologies. Yes, must have misread. Was confused as the original questions was about the Ticket Office.
Re: Season Ticket Question
For anyone with money on their Teamcard and who wants to transfer it to you OnAccount. This can't be done online as they are 2 different systems. In normal circumstances you can only do this by either calling into or ringing the ticket office. However, the ticket office is now closed until further notice, so it needs to be done over the phone.
Re: Season Ticket Question
I finally got sorted yesterday the club had generated 3 clarets numbers for me by mistake.

Re: Season Ticket Question
So am I understanding this right, I claimed a refund for the 2020/21 season (I was on furlough and needed the money) I’ve since moved away and won’t be renewing for next season but if I did renew I would be charged more money? That seems unfair.
Re: Season Ticket Question
Prices for Phase 2 Renewals haven't been released yet. But the club did say that the same price wasn't guaranteed if you withdrew your money.Asbury Park wrote: ↑Sun Apr 11, 2021 12:42 pmSo am I understanding this right, I claimed a refund for the 2020/21 season (I was on furlough and needed the money) I’ve since moved away and won’t be renewing for next season but if I did renew I would be charged more money? Re: Season Ticket Question
Just trying to renew our 5 tickets (yes even after that result)
I’ve selected “on account”, but I do have some extra to pay due to change in age category and a somehow missed DD payment
Do I click on this refund all and then select card payment?

Re: Season Ticket Question
Have you actually missed a DD payment or has it just not been credited to your account? I'd check that.
Re: Season Ticket Question
Just a tip on renewing for anyone who can't log on etc.. If you give your details (Membership no., surname and postcode) to a friend who can log on, they can then add you to their Friends and Family and they can then renew for you.

Re: Season Ticket Question
Yeah it’s been missed (that’s why it’s taken until now to get this far)
Somehow my brothers October payment didn’t come out, which he wasn’t aware of, yet all the other came out fine
Re: Season Ticket Question
Ok. In response to your question -' I’ve selected “on account”, but I do have some extra to pay due to change in age category and a somehow missed DD payment. Do I click on this refund all and then select card payment?'
I think that your should probably tick both On Account and either credit or debit card to make the shortfall payment. If you click refund, it will refund all your monies and you will then be a non-ST holder and have to re-apply in Phase 2.

That’s what I thought would happen
I’ve emailed them

Re: Season Ticket Question
Following my partner's inability to log onto the website, or indeed to reset the password because they
didn't recognise her email address, despite their sending numerous emails to her, she emailed the club
for help. The following is the reply she has now received :-
Thank you for your email.
I am sorry to hear that you are still experiencing issues. I will be able to renew your season ticket over email for you.
However, I must make you aware of a couple of things before hand:
- The club are following government advice very closely, and it may mean that we are required to implement contactless ticketing. This will be done through our mobile app. If this is necessary, all supporters wishing to attend games at Turf Moor will need to have their ticketing account linked to the SSO Account.
- The potential of vaccination passports being a requirement to attend public events is quite high, the initial plan is to link this to the NHS app. If this is the case, a smartphone will be a must when attending Turf Moor.
I will need you to confirm that you understand that if contactless ticketing is introduced, that you will not be able to enter the stadium until your ticketing account is linked to your SSO account.
If you are happy for me to renew you season tickets, without linking to SSO please reply confirming the clarets number, full name, and date of birth of each person you wish to renew.
Can anyone please shed any light on what is happening here ? How does this "revelation" impact on such as myself who has already managed to navigate the complexities of the BFC website and actually achieved success ? Will we have to go through another process of somehow transferring detais to an app ? Contactless ticketing !!!!! I thought the season cards were contactless.
Am I missing something here that's staring me in the face ? A case of can't see the wood for the trees perhaps !!!
I'm gradually losing the will to live - what is an SSO account when it's at home, for instance ?
Can anyone please help a bewildered old bloke, please, please please.

Re: Season Ticket Question
Funky - one thing i think i can tell you is that SSO, stands for single sign on.
Part of the renewal process on line is to allow you access to the club shop, ticketing etc with one account.
That smart phone malarky is frightening for people with old phones and pensioners etc who don't have them, surely there will be a way round this otherwise the BL will be half full !

I spoke to a friend of mine today who is 82 and has had a season ticket since 1947. He’s decided to call it a day because of all this. He doesn’t do online, he doesn’t have a mobile phone and he struggles on the phone now due to him going deaf.
What an appalling state of affairs.

Re: Season Ticket Question
I could sort his season ticket out for him but what happens if you can’t go on without a smart phone? As for that, I can’t renew mine, it won’t work for me.
At the end of the day the club should be helping him. But for me he wouldn’t have even known he had to do anything having left his money in.

You would hope so and you would hope he will look for solutions. He’s in America at the moment but that shouldn’t be an obstacle.
I’m told he visits this message board so I would think he’s read about this shambles.

Besides the Gov tax the bloody thing.
I have one but this is stupid

Re: Season Ticket Question
Goodness me I've only just read the latest messages on this topic. Now there's talk of mobile apps. It's becoming farcical. It will be worrying enough hoping that everyone sticks to the rules whilst in the stadium. No more stress please.
Re: Season Ticket Question
When I first logged in my clarets number had changed to a new one so I couldn't do anything. Now I have no clarets number and haven't had a response from nick Taylor, ticket office or direct debit in weeks by email or telephone. I'm no longer going to renew as it's farcical for a Premier league club is this
Re: Season Ticket Question
I doubt I'm going to renew for myself and my two young children. It's enough to keep them in check at the best of times without staggered entry times, Covid passports, Tests for them, masks, no singing etc

That is appalling. Clearly the club is a huge part of this persons life (over 70 years a season ticket holder) and the club should be doing what they can to help. It really isn't hard to have someone dealing with individual cases and helping those who need some assistance.
The lack of replies to emails, nobody answering the phone and staff not taking responsibility for helping really does give off a poor image of that side of the club.
