A quick and easy wage save ahead of next season and a More experienced head to give out the bad news stories as cutbacks begin.

On the pitch they have lost Billy Sharp and McBurnie for the rest of the season.
Pressure on Brewster to start earning his brass.

Do you still believe it's the manager that negotiates the transfer fees, wages etc etc.

I really hope we’ve done some “pre-planning” and enquired about Berg

Know a few of the “bigger” clubs have been looking at him, but I’m not sure he’s good enough to be a regular start for them, whereas he would for us

Berge is almost certainly out of our reach with a number of big clubs interested in signing him this summer.

There must surely be umpteen players of a similar ilk knocking about. It’s been said plenty of times before but it’s about getting these players before they’ve proven themselves in the Premier League, if we can’t look to buy them a season or so after they’ve played at this level.

I just assumed this thread was about the potential for them to be relegated today but the loss of the chairman isn't anything important I don't think, he's no more than the owner's son-in-law.

It certainly has. Will be interesting to see if it was couldn’t or wouldn’t, the last few years.

I wonder if this has anything to do with Wilder leaving?
Could he return?

Becoming a bit of a circus.

Very glad we don’t have a Saudi sheikh as an owner.

Yes I think we dodged a bullet when Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, bought Man City, instead of Burnley 🤔
