Tonight's EL action 6/5
So will it be an all English line up. United should be on easy street, but Arsenal perhaps less so.
A mention for Mason Greenwood his 100th appearance at the tender age of 19, that's a staggering amount of games at that age.

I'm hoping Villareal get to the final and Man Utd win - that should qualify WHU for the Europa league and make for a difficult PL season for them next season

Yes Arsenal haven't been great have they, where's their intensity, but it still only takes 1 goal to take them through, so the tie is still on a knife-edge.

Who is the silly woman on commentary at Arsenal who said, when the Spanish player was on the floor badly injured, 'I bet the Arsenal fa s are buzzing now' Serves me right for having the commentary on; it's now on mute.

Utd suddenly trying to make it interesting aren't they, 2-1 Roma on the night, still a huge task for them, but another goal in the next 10 minutes could get Utd's nerves jangling.
A 2bd Utd goal that surely puts them in the final, now can Arsenal join them?

Arsenal have been incredibly lethargic, and it wouldn't be deserved if they scored, but in this game it only takes a second to score a goal, so well it remains in the balance they still have hope, they need to up the tempo though.

Aubameyang hits the post for the 2nd time, you get the feeling it's not going to be Arsenal's night, not that they'd necessarily deserve to go through over the 2 ties. He really should be burying that chance though, and they may not get a better one in the last few minutes.

Man Utd should have too much for Villareal, but Unai Emery has had the last laugh on Arsenal hasn't he, and the Spaniard's won't be a pushover, astonishing really that they've reached yet another European final when their entire population is less than Burnley.

Re: Tonight's EL action 6/5
Best team on the field at Arsenal were the officials!
Arsenal are still persisting in trying to score the 'perfect' goal. Just 4 shots on target in total in a semi-final which Arsenal needed to win. Oh yes, Mr Emery will be very pleased with that result.

Arsenal fans now wanting a new owner, new manager and a new team. No wonder they wanted to enter a competition that wouldn’t let them lose

This will be the first European final they've reached.tiger76 wrote: ↑Thu May 06, 2021 10:01 pmMan Utd should have too much for Villareal, but Unai Emery has had the last laugh on Arsenal hasn't he, and the Spaniard's won't be a pushover, astonishing really that they've reached yet another European final when their entire population is less than Burnley.

Diego Forlan needs to be half time guest at the final.
Some player. Certainly enjoyed watching him back in the day in a good Villarreal side.. Didn't realise he only scored 10 at United.
