Liverpool game - Claiming tickets and ground entry
Re: Liverpool game - ticketing preparation
Tried applying for a Liverpool ticket on my phone which came up with the message that I had +26 tickets already.
Logged in on the computer and that message wasn’t repeated. Straightforward enough after logging in and adding the 0.00 ballot ticket into the basket.
Purchases also show it in there with past purchases.
Auto Email received a couple of seconds after.

Yes, you should do. Try to enter the ballot again and if it doesn't let you then you're probably already entered.Ralphandwillie wrote: ↑Sat May 08, 2021 8:44 pmTried to apply for a ticket on the website/

Re: Liverpool game - ticketing preparation
Why didn't they just use the same loyalty points system that they have used for 15 years??

Re: Liverpool game - ticketing preparation
an interesting question...what does anyone think the club will do if say less than 3,500 fans enter the ballot?
don't think there would be enough time to offer spare capacity to non-season ticket holders!

If i'm successful in the ballot can I occupy my usual seat on the back row of JHL block 6, or has my seat already gone to the Corporate gods?

Re: Liverpool game - ticketing preparation
Entered and not got a clue if successful. This club website is a joke and will cost the club dearly if they don't make it user friendly.
I tried to register a few days ago and wasn't sure if I was on board, tried again today and was confident that I was, now after reading that I should have had an email as confirmation I am not to sure, because I haven't.
If this new lot don't simplify things and make things user friendly, they are going to lose a lot of fans who they will need going forward

Not had a problem with Registration nor entering the Ballot and before joining them together honestly never found any of the sites (Shop, Club and Clarets Player) difficult to navigate when using my Laptop. I wonder if it is just Phones and Tablets that are the source of the issues?

I won't be applying. I'm glad to give the opportunity to those so grateful to return to the Turf under such restrictive terms. I'll return when all restrictions are removed.

Oh for the days of queuing up for the "Big Match" Tickets......Always Added to the The Excitement. Sadly gone.
Re: Liverpool game - ticketing preparation
So if you are awarded tickets in the ballot tim you "might not bother going on" hence depriving someone who wants to go ...

Re: Liverpool game - ticketing preparation
Obviously loyalty points have never been used for home games before as having a season ticket would ensure your seat / ticket.
In this case, nobody has a home ticket / seat, so why not use the season ticket plus loyalty points system that they have used for away games for about 15 years?

About 10,000 people have paid for a season ticket for this season, so why would the loyalty points system be utilised?chipbutty wrote: ↑Sun May 09, 2021 10:49 pmObviously loyalty points have never been used for home games before as having a season ticket would ensure your seat / ticket.

Re: Liverpool game - ticketing preparation
So read through all 5 pages of this.
Personally I was going to enter the ballot and then thought about having to wear a mask for 2 hours in a pretty much empty stadium, and i thought nah!
So people who haven't bought season tickets are moaning because they can't have the option for a free ticket?
And people who have won tickets, might not bother going on.
lol!

There's no hospiality for this game, so even they might not get a ticket!dougcollins wrote: ↑Mon May 10, 2021 9:37 amThat'll be the people who are paying more for my seat than I am, hence my eviction.

Nobody is guaranteed their own seat for this game, the club have already said that

Possibly most of the 3500 will have been evicted from their normal seat.dougcollins wrote: ↑Mon May 10, 2021 11:00 amNot the point I was making. My question was can I occupy my usual seat, or have I already been evicted.

Just been to the ticket office.
All sorted, there was a problem with my account on the new system.
I would suggest anyone having issues to pop in.
Well done ladies and thank you.

Hi dc, assuming you ae lucky in the draw you may get the chance to visit your seat for one last time, always assuming you are allocated a ticket in the same stand.dougcollins wrote: ↑Mon May 10, 2021 11:00 amNot the point I was making. Have you thought about putting a bid in for your old seat and buying from the club when it is removed and replaced with the corporate hospitality? Who knows, it maybe that Alan Pace will be happy for a charity donation for each of the seats that are being taken out to make way for the new hospitality arrangements.
Good luck.

I've had same experience. I think the predictive element on phones or tablets are the problem. l find you have to type in email addresses and passwords from scratch every time you log in. It rejected any requests if l used the saved versions.JohnMac wrote: ↑Sun May 09, 2021 9:24 pmNot had a problem with Registration nor entering the Ballot and before joining them together honestly never found any of the sites (Shop, Club and Clarets Player) difficult to navigate when using my Laptop. Re: Liverpool game - ticketing preparation
Just a big thank you to all who have contributed to this thread.
I've badly missed over the last 14 months going on the Turf and seeing the Clarets in the flesh as it were, the pre match drink, walking to the ground, the atmosphere, the smell, the half time drink, talking to people sat around me who I only ever see at the game but have known for years, away games and trips, great goals, great tackles, opposition players being sent off, away fans, Sean harassing the fourth official and Barnsey's shithousery.
But I've also just realised I've really missed reading the numerous threads, during any season, on the subject of getting tickets, the problems, how unfair it is, alternative systems, how the Club could do better, the Ticket Office being a shambles, the comments "they're useless", "that's it I've given up", "tinpot club", "PL team, Conference ticket office" etc etc.
So thank you one and whole. It really does feel like things are returning to some kind of normality.

No due to only using 3 stands
Re: Liverpool game - ticketing preparation
What is the capacity of Turf Moor, around 22,000 or just under? If the Cricket Field stand is 4,000 then that would leave a capacity of approx 18,000 or thereabouts.
25% of that is 4,500 yet we are only being permitted 3,500. Just for clarity perhaps the club could have explained how the figure was calculated?
Hopefully with the new owners we can look forward to a little more information regarding allocation of away tickets, numbers sold etc. when things get back to normal.
