'Czech keeper has made three or four excellent saves' That's what he is there for and not to look foolish like the Scottish keeper.

I’d take two draws now to not finish top but easily qualify. Easier route forwards.
Scotland a shocking side.

I know what you mean, but no way do i want to draw (or God forbid lose) to the Jocks.jedi_master wrote: ↑Mon Jun 14, 2021 4:04 pmI’d take two draws now to not finish top but easily qualify. Easier route forwards.
Re: Scotland v Czech Republic ....
All about momentum. Go out and the group and ensure the next round game is at Wembley. I’d rather take on France/Germany/Portugal at Wembley than the risk of playing in Copenhagen against Spain.

1) I'm Scottish or have Scottish roots, I'm 100% behind our gallant lads !!
2) They're a British team, I'll always want them to do well, except against England ( or my other UK side ) !!
3) Winds me up how anti-English the Scots are, but I'm bigger than that, good luck to them !!
4) Utterly indifferent, be good to see Vydra get some game time !!
5) F*** 'em !! Love to see them crying into their Tennants, and I hope they get spanked !!

Re: Scotland v Czech Republic ....
Hodgson ruined the momentum at the last one in 2016 when he rested half the team vs Slovakia and we ended up drawing and finishing second in the group. We don’t want a repeat of that

I wonder if that and a pasting next match will shut the b!tch up?

Re: Scotland v Czech Republic ....
It's being reported that following some comments made to the Scottish staff, a group of Czech supporters were asked to leave a Glasgow hotel reception, after getting a bit boisterous after the 2nd goal went in ... The Manager said that because of local sensitivities, he couldn't have " Czech nuts boasting in an open foyer " .....

One job, you only had one job !Silkyskills1 wrote: ↑Mon Jun 14, 2021 3:20 pmAnother howler in a long line of howlers from Scottish goalkeepers.
To keep goal. That doesn't include going walkabout when the ball is in play!

They’d have deep fried it in batter by now.

Not the keepers fault at all.

Re: Scotland v Czech Republic ....
Can we realistically get a draw against Scotland without UEFA investigating us for throwing the game for betting irregularities?

Re: Scotland v Czech Republic ....
The locals have suddenly gone mighty quiet up here I can't imagine why can you.
There's 3 certainties in life, death, taxes and Scotland crashing out in the group stage due to a dodgy keeper.

Next time goalie, run like hell and turn round when you get back.
Re: Scotland v Czech Republic ....
The territory is the first thing.
He's seen the ball launched, he must have some idea of the trajectory, but the first thing is to get back to the line as quick as possible.

Jock the lard could probably do with ordering a size or 2 bigger for the next time his team qualify for anything

Re: Scotland v Czech Republic ....
Perhaps the FedEx ads around Scotland's half of the pitch could be slightly altered for the second half against England, with the 'Ex' being replaced by 'Up'.
This would certainly enhance expressions on Scottish faces in the crowd and thus the overall entertainment value.
Just a thought, like.

Re: Scotland v Czech Republic ....
Is this the worst bit of punditry ever from James McFadden?
“ The pressure now is on England because Scotland can go there under less pressure than today because it’s not a home game and no one expects us to win.”
Er no.. lose and you are more or less out, that’s pressure. I would imagine about six million sweaty socks expect Scotland to win cause if they don’t their porridge will be even more salty than usual.

Re: Scotland v Czech Republic ....
Is that tongue in cheek? Terrible blunder from the keeper virtually handing the Czechs the win. Fantastic awareness from the striker and skill but that goal would not have been scored with a keeper concentrating on his game.
Re: Scotland v Czech Republic ....
Indeed, Silkyskills1. I wouldn’t be surprised if Clarke has him chained to the goalposts against England.
