New team card just dropped through the letter box
New team card just dropped through the letter box
I flicked it up,headed it five times then volleyed it into my man drawer, hopefully an eight page instructions booklet on how to use it wont be following on.
Dead simple, could or should this method that has worked so well in the past just have been the clubs default position for renewals or am I just being thick ?

The card is just for method of entry, doesn't affect the renewal system.bfcjg wrote: ↑Fri Jul 02, 2021 9:36 amI flicked it up,headed it five times then volleyed it into my man drawer, hopefully an eight page instructions booklet on how to use it wont be following on.

As for new cards, or cards in general, good to see we are still going to use them. We were told for the Liverpool game that it was no contact entry so instead of taking my card off me they took my phone.
Re: New team card just dropped through the letter box

Maybe our 'phones are not as contaminated as our cards !!!!
You couldn't make things like that up.

Re: New team card just dropped through the letter box
For the first time in many years, postie came before 10am. Usually comes in the afternoon.
He must have known of the importance of today's content.
A brand spanking new season ticket card with my seat number and name on it.
Only downside...it says I am over 65!
A good day.

The postman delivered 3 to our house this morning
Re: New team card just dropped through the letter box
The amount of confusion caused earlier on though with the bar code on your phone etc could have been avoided.

Ours have just arrived. It’s bloody awful after a period of 25 years looking at them with a different block and seat number on.

Re: New team card just dropped through the letter box
Now I'm probably being a bit thick here, but on the card that the TeamCard comes attached too, two options are highlighted:
1. The club website to click on 'Your TeamCard' in the 'Tickets' tab.
I can't find that option when I click on 'Tickets'
2. The website to register the 'Team Card' seems to be a separate entity from the club.
Is this correct?

Do we get cheaper ST from 65....might be worth investing if we do,think this coming season will be a change in the way we play and be a quite exciting one.IanMcL wrote: ↑Fri Jul 02, 2021 11:59 amFor the first time in many years, postie came before 10am. Usually comes in the afternoon.

I would have done however it was reviewed by VAR and my toenail was just over the doormat so it was ruled offside .

Re: New team card just dropped through the letter box
Sadly, being a supporter who pays up front in the early bird period, I'm not eligible for a season ticket at present. Still, Accy Stanley are selling from 16th July, so I could get one there if Burnley don't come up with one. All I need do is get BFC to give me back the £150 on account and I'm almost there.

I’m not surprised at 1. Nothing on that website surprises me.Juan Tanamera wrote: ↑Fri Jul 02, 2021 2:44 pmNow I'm probably being a bit thick here, but on the card that the TeamCard comes attached too, two options are highlighted:

2 - yes, it’s the company we use for the TeamCard. They have an App too but that’s stopped working.

Apparently the club were hoping to sort out a staff visit to a local brewery, with unlimited drinks thrown in, but had to cancel as the arrangements proved too difficult...ClaretTony wrote: ↑Fri Jul 02, 2021 5:44 pmI’m not surprised at 1. Nothing on that website surprises me.

Re: New team card just dropped through the letter box
We certainly do Steve. Circa half price.
After years of doing away games and sporadic home games, at full one off price, I am now a happy chappie up in the upper Longside bang in line with half way line!
Also, at away matches, I can park free and bus for free!
