A few videos circling on social media already. A great ambassador for the town.

I wish we had something similar to this now, instead of that monstrosity we unveiled yesterday the best shirt we have ever had...Will it be late 60s early 70s that shirt?

Missed a trick with this,They could have all been wearing the new shirt, might have got a few people buying it from all over country .Plus would have been good publicity for our new sponsors

A dilemma really over what will cause you the greater pain.
Getting back into shape so that your favourite shirt fits again or shelling out for the "monstrosity" in a larger size.
Unless, of course, your favourite shirt shrank in the wash.

I said months back we should get local people modelling shirts rather than players. People like Jordan, local people in cafes/bars/hairdressers etc who’ve had a tough time over the past 18 months but still here, fighting. It’s a bit meh, seeing players do it. We’re gonna see enough of them in it this season.Les Lawrence wrote: ↑Thu Jul 22, 2021 12:27 pmMissed a trick with this,They could have all been wearing the new shirt, might have got a few people buying it from all over country .Plus would have been good publicity for our new sponsors

I suspect if people saw how football shirts look on the average body rather than athletic one sales would plummet.Dyched wrote: ↑Thu Jul 22, 2021 12:30 pmI said months back we should get local people modelling shirts rather than players. To do with timings and the need to keep them under wraps i guess. Could certainly work for the away / 3rd kits or maybe still use the players, but have them in the town centre, Tesco, walking around Townley, at the bingo etcDyched wrote: ↑Thu Jul 22, 2021 12:30 pmI said months back we should get local people modelling shirts rather than players.
