Any young player signing I would think along the lines of this new scouting app, rather than Dyche.
Just based on his past signings and their intentions.
Aren't we planning on loaning him out straight away? I don't think we have done that yet under Dyche have we?
The new scouting app is not for known talent, already with a club. It's for individuals who are not currently with a club.
Yes, he would be loaned out to continue his football education, but it's still an up front fee of around £4 million, which Sean wouldn't sanction if he was thinking of leaving.

Professional manager is professional in his role until the moment he leaves role: shocker
Dyche will do what’s best for BFC until he is no longer employed by BFC. That’s his job, and the man is a professional and oozes this in every aspect of his role.

Nixon has already said Doig will not be leaving Hibs for Burnley, but will be leaving. This will be another parameter for the Nixon yes/no brigade

Boris has offered to pay for Cornet if more people in Burnley have the jab.
He says it will be cheaper than the McDonalds and Pizza bill of a fast food eating town.

Totally agree.
Hoping beyond hope that Pace saw the importance of a top class keeper to Burnley at the beginning and end of last season!!

Can't see us signing both AMN and Cornet given the fees involved. Given we were linked with Young/Albrighton I think we're looking at one cheaper option and one big marquee signing - Lookman would fit in as the cheaper option as a loan in this circumstance. If we land Cornet or AMN I would imagine that would end the interest in the other and then Lookman would become the priority for the other winger slot.

If we are in for Doig then loan him out, it's because for 4m it's too good a deal to pass up for a very promising player with one eye on Pieters leaving next season.
We seemingly are the only club willing to pay anywhere near the 13m for Cornet. Hertha Berlin's latest offer was about 8m. If we can convince the player then it's a deal that can get done.
Think we are genuinely trying to get AMN but looking at Lookman as an alternative and maybe to try and get the asking price down.
At least this window we seem far savvier and linked to more the 2 or 3 targets.
IF we landed AMN/Lookman with Cornet alongside Collins and Hennessey with no more departures, it would be the best window in recent memory.

The puns don't even make sense, his surname is Cornet not Cornetto and it is pronounced Cor-nay.

Yep, a Cornet is a brass instrument, similar to a Trumpet, which would make more sense because most people in here seem to be full of wind!
