Lancs v Middlesex
Forgot this was today, could be a tense finale.
Middlesex 257 all out, 3 wickets for Bailey. Lancs 154-2 in the 37th need just over a 100 off about 80 balls, but wickets in hand could be vital.
Good partnership by Jones & Croft.
The only concern for Lancs will be that Jennings has been forced to retire, hope it's nothing too serious, he'll be a key figure in the latter part of the season.

Not looking too promising now, 190-5, Jones out. 68 off 41 required.

Need 43 off 4, tough ask but not impossible with a couple of big shots.

Lost by 6 runs, a good effort in the circumstances, Jennings didn't come back out at number 11, which sadly would suggest his injury is worse than feared, either that or it's some form of concussion, can't find any info online, just hope he's OK.

Re: Lancs v Middlesex
That's not good.
Lancs knocked off the top by Essex, and we lost that game by letting their tail enders add nearly 70 in the last 10 overs.
Josh De Caires (Mike Atherton's lad) took 2 stunning catches to seal their victory. I don't think his old man will be too pleased.
Crikey you know your getting old, when the chaps you grow up watching have kids of their own don't you.
