Those who were shouting me down about my beliefs that this is the season we will be relegated and that Dyche gets a new role might just take note now!
Because we've lost a preseason friendly?

Would someone really change their view just on a single friendly?

No one should keep quiet but it seems impossible for some to express their opinion, or disagree with those of others, without incorporating some form of petty insult.

Agree it's all about fitness, avoiding injury and shape, however with the start 7 days away we cannot be happy with the shape as how can we get new signings to play to our framework and how the players interact. I am not a hysterical better but to be anything other then concerned is naive IMHO.
Feel really sorry for Dyche.

We need signings. Simple as that. No more to be said.

I agree, my comment was tongue in cheek. This board can be very toxic at times. People need to accept other posters are allowed an opinion!

We might scrape 40 points in the PL but we are a shite side and there doesn't appear to be any finances to change it. One thing I like about football is the constant changing of teams and squads, I like new exciting signings, it's the hope an exciting signing will take your team to that next level.
When there was rumours of a takeover by American investors I was excited we might finally see a change in finances, I wasn't expecting £50m players but something different, a freshness to the squad, a different approach, a bit of excitement. So bored of seeing shite like Aaron Lennon, wasn't good enough 2 years ago. Is it too much to ask for to see a change in first 11? the last starter we signed was Chris Wood 4 years ago, it feels like i've been watching this same dull team for decades.

Great first half and good to see the passing game. Second half we reverted to long ball which was poor. Their keeper made 3 worldys and I thought Pope could have done better with at least 1. But wow its good to be back and can't wait for next Saturday COYC NNN UTC

I’ve been putting this out there for a week or two. We’ve been poor pre season, we’ve recruited poorly, there’s clubs sniffing around our top performers, and Tarks ongoing in/out routine is distracting (as we saw last year).
So no not on one pre season friendly.

Lennon came on and…….offered absolutely nothing.
The same player that also refused to play for us because he didn’t have a new deal on table. But he’ll run around and look busy so we’ll sign him. Absolute joke.

Basically the same side that was largely being over run in the last half dozen games of last season, and playing clubs in the bottom tier. Its as if relegation happens "so what".We don't behave like a PL club. 7 days to KO and we don't have one new player in our starting 11

We’ve compounded awful performance after performance in a horrible pre season.

Nothing. We’re still terrible to watch, and will likely struggle again this season.

You can express concern, in a logical way. Expect people to fall in line behind a view because of a pre season result, and you’re a halfwit.

Good first half, no worries and keeping Tarkowski is, in fact, a big investment
