BPF great Pen save
Well he does have a history with pen saves doesn't he. :)

And NI go straight up the other end and make it 3-1.

4-1 NI with another pen, BPF'S spot kick save really was a game changer.

Vydra came on in the 63rd minutes for the CR, in their 1-0 win over Belarus.

The half hour run out won't do him any harm in getting his match fitness up.

It looks like JBG played the full 90 for Iceland tonight.

I'd like to think Pope gets some game time against Andorra

Don't be such a doom-monger.
I think JBG needs to reinvent himself at BFC, no longer a winger, maybe start playing deeper like Westwood.

Doubt been involved in robust midfield battles will do him any good

Possibly not, but he's hardly flying up the wing these days.

Yes apparently Gareth may make 11 changes for that match, so it'll be telling who gets the gloves, although whichever of Johnstone or Pope does play I doubt they'll be overly worked by Andorra.

Presumably if Cornet plays in Mozambique he won't be allowed into the UK until after the 14th September? Or will he now have to follow Premier League protocols and not be allowed to travel?
Cornet hasn't gone to Mozambique - this now makes him available for the Everton game I believe (not that we will throw him in)

If he does I wonder how many other clubs have had goalkeepers playing for England, Wales and Northern Ireland at the same(ish) time?

There is a Gudmundsson, but it's Albert Gudmundsson.

I'm sure JBG played the full 90 for Iceland the other day, so unless he's picked up a knock in training it's strange that he's not even involved in the squad.

Played the full 90 and was captain as well. Not suspended either, so it's got to be an injury surely to be dropped completely from the squad.
