Derby to be given 9 point deduction this season

Just thought it would be easier to go on its own thread.
9 point deduction this season, with a further 3 point deduction suspended.

If Rooney keeps them up this season I think Premier League clubs will come knocking

Ridiculous this has been allowed to drag on for so long, the EFL still asking for revised accounts dating back to 2016 FGS.

It's time these clubs started getting their affairs in order and stopped overspending.

Agree with this, they should have just closed the book on it and let Derby get on with their football this season

They haven’t broken any rules this season, surely this should have happened last season

At ladt a penalty, rather than let's help Derby get sorted, before dishing out a relegation.

Should've been dished out sooner but welcome that some kind of punishment has finally happened.

The League tried to give them a points penalty but independent panels always show leniency to clubs.

That's why the league are agreeing the punishment with the club this time. The club is proving difficult to sell while all this hangs over them.

Take the points deduction, pay the taxman, any clubs owed transfer fees and keep paying wages. At the end of the season you might stay up and someone buy you?

A well deserved deduction and they can count themselves lucky to have got off that lightly.

Looking good for an East Mids double this season! :)

Oh! If only Rovers would care to join them! One can dream.

They'll only be 7 points from survival, so still fancy their chances of staying up.

No decision has been made by EFL.
