The chicken one from the Turkish place at the old Wellington was top drawer. About 12 quid. Just get a tray of donner meat and it will feed 4.

If you fancy eating out then you won't go far wrong with Continentals next to the Keirby Hotel. They also have a Deli across the road.

Whatever you go for, the good news is your wife is coming home. I wish you all the best and enjoy the food!

It is absolutely great your wife is recovering and long may it continue, so please forgive me for being a bit of a party pooper here....
One serious point I need to raise though-depending on her diet for the last 18 months just be really careful with volume and richness consumed. It can be really difficult to adjust to fatty and high volume foods.
Anyway, I am sure all will be fine but just wanted to share that , as I feel I am obliged

Grand master was huge, but a disappointment taste wise. Absolutely blathered in sauce so you couldn't taste anything else.
Tara mixed kebab sandwich used to be the best in Burnley, but they swapped their freshly made proper naan bread for the supermarket pre-made rubbish, so i don't bother anymore.
Turkish best is a good shout.

Dont know about you but no matter where i order from i order plain with sauce separate in the notes of the order
Stops them arriving soggy

Best way you can add as much or as little as you want that way.
