Klopp will be complaining that Leicester played a team that was too weak.

Re: Today's football 28 December
Leicester fans now taunting the Liverpool fans with ‘Champions of England, you’ll never sing that’. I thought it was ridiculous when they sung it at us.

Impressed with Dewsbury-Hall, even if he does sound like a listed building.

I was thinking the same. Is there any other footballer with a name like a National Trust property?Buxtonclaret wrote: ↑Tue Dec 28, 2021 9:21 pmImpressed with Dewsbury-Hall, even if he does sound like a listed building.

Klopp will complain that because they had their last game postponed they lost momentum and there should be more games now

There's a Ben House plays for Eastleigh?
Only a young lad, a semi at the mo.
He's time for a few extensions.

Great result for the Foxes-the beauty of the Premier League when most pundits were backing Liverpool

Re: Today's football 28 December
Absolutely fantastic result. Leicester ravaged by injury as well.
Can't wait to see who or what Klopp blames for this one. Someone sneezed when Salah was about to take the penalty? The smell of bratwurst from the neighbouring German markets diffused into the Liverpool changing room putting him off his team talk?

And why wouldn't most pundits be tipping Liverpool?warksclaret wrote: ↑Tue Dec 28, 2021 9:58 pmGreat result for the Foxes-the beauty of the Premier League when most pundits were backing Liverpool
The first time that Liverpool have failed to score in an away game since January 4 2021 having scored at least twice in 11 of their last 12 PL away fixtures.
Football is extremely difficult to predict, especially at this time of the year with a pandemic thrown in for good measure. There are many reasons not to place money on the outcome of football matches.

Cue Herr Klopp...
Re: Today's football 28 December
I wish Harvey Barnes was playing for Burnley.

Re: Today's football 28 December
I can’t stand Leicester, but I was cheering them on tonight. City are probably my least favourite club in the country after B*stards, but I hope they win the title this year. Silly Jurgen has long since lost the people of Burnley, and today was the final nail in the coffin. There is no more damning indictment.

Re: Today's football 28 December
Think you missed my point-I was not trying to be controversial , just making a comment on how lucky we are to have the Premier League, and how well Leicester played despite having a significant injury listkentonclaret wrote: ↑Tue Dec 28, 2021 10:09 pmAnd why wouldn't most pundits be tipping Liverpool?
