I think Villa are trying to sign anyone, looks like they are getting Robin Olson from Sheff Utd now

Maybe we should have a thread called ‘Outside’. When the bickering starts you could just say ‘Outside now!’and carry on there instead of making us all suffer scrolling through the rubbish.
Just an idea……

Standard practise on most messageboards. Read between the lines, put your own slant on it, then abuse the poster. Why people can’t just read the words I’ll never understand.

Just a quick point on slanderous or untruths aimed at an individual, party, company etc from my experience working as a manager for one of the biggest Pharma companies the census we worked under & advice from the company legal teams is it needs 3 members to participate in the act. The 3 will be members of this board, 1 to accuse & 2 to agree or share it……… The accuser can also be held accountable separately as well… we had lots of people sacked due to comments on social media.

Sadly it wouldn't work: It's important to the usual suspects that they spout their bile in full view of everyone; how else would we all know how impotent they are.
Oops, that should have read important; then again...

All great shouts but the best , IMO , highlighted.KRBFC wrote: ↑Fri Jan 14, 2022 9:35 pmsplit Martin Hodge's salary between me and LTL and you will see proper players enter the building.
Jota from Benfica is on loan at Celtic, Benfica asking for around £5m I heard. Celtic just signed Maeda, top scorer in J league and monster SoRare scorer!
Ola Solbakken is another from Bodo Glimt who LTL mentioned, incredibly talented left footed forward. Recently got his first Norway caps, oozed class in his national team debut v Latvia, (a game I watched live).
Jesper Karlsson a player I mentioned the other week, just won the player of the month in the Dutch league. A right footed left winger, incredibly talented with the ball, young, will see him at one of the top clubs in 2-3 years.
Lois Openda, lightening quick, 21 year old, Vitesse striker. Already matched his league goal tally (10) from last year.
I'd call up Benfica, they've got Ramos, Nunez, Yaremchuk and Seferovic. I think Seferovic will leave pretty soon providing a big club doesn't come in for Darwin. Seferovic a back to goal Swiss international, bags of experience and quality.
Luca Orellano right winger for Velez in Argentina, watched him play live quite a few times last year, fast and beat a man for fun. midget left footed right winger
I saw Atalanta were open to allowing Miranchuk to leave, full Russian international number 10, another absolute quality player.
Yusuf Demir, one of the hottest prospects in world football, was on loan at Barcelona but their financial position didn't allow them to spend 10 million euros to convert the loan to permanent from his Austrian team. Full Austrian international at 18 years old
Julio Enciso youngest ever Copa Libertadores goalscorer, Brighton already sniffing around him at £3m.
Sevilla just signed Jesus Corona from Porto for £3m, could potentially free up Suso to move on
Ricardo Pepi just went from the MLS to Augsburg, one of the brightest US talents in a long time. His team mate at Dallas Jesus Ferreira is another young American talent. Barco at Atlanta is a better player than Almiron was, Almiron was in a better Atlanta side too. Josef Martinez returned from ACL mid MLS season, another I'd look at, his goalscoring record is brilliant.

Agree with the shout for Pepi. Tall and rangey with an eye for goal, he would suit our style of play. At 18 probably too much to carry the burden of expectation, but he's definitely a talent. Bayern Munich have connections with FC Dallas and were mooted to be in for his signature before Augsberg paid around 8million for him. Wouldn't be surprised if they continue to monitor his transition to the Bundesliga with a view to bringing him on in a couple of years to replace Lewandowski.
Barco would also add a bit of creativity. I was sceptical when Atlanta brought him in as a foil for Martinez, he was too lightweight, however last season he looked to have bulked up whilst retaining his quick feet and pace.

If people cannot see the danger of making found-less accusations and allegations in writing, far be it from me to stop them hanging themselves against their wishes. Play on boys.

Is there a fixed formula or is it a schedule to be agreed between the two parties before a contract can be signed?

If we brought 3 newbies in what worries me is will SD play them, only Cornet of our summer captures has featured regularly.CnBtruntru wrote: ↑Sat Jan 15, 2022 4:20 pmHopefully while other clubs are playing matches we are out buying 3 new starters, Wish.
We definitely need new CM, new RW, and now Wood has gone at least one new forward. But unless Sean is prepared to throw them in they won't have the desired impact we'd hope for and probably need.

I reckon we should go for Brereton and their right winger (forgot his name now). Two very good players for us and a serious dent in the barstewards push for promotion

Not a chance the stewards would
Let either of them go at this time, and certainly not to us.
I seriously doubt the players would want to move here anyway.
