R.I.P Sean.
Not as good a Bond as Roger Moore the ultimate but a legend no doubt.

Read this and immediately went to BBC website. Nothing on there!
Wondered why someone would make up such a thing.
Then read the date of the OP!
Had completely forgotten!
My favourite Bond although Daniel Craig now a very close second.

Roger Moore was the worst Bond ever.

Connery was a great Bond but not the best 007. Lashana Lynch, the female actor in No Time to Die probably takes that accolade.

Funnily enough I'm about to watch a film called The Anderson Tapes:

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0066767/?ref_=nv_sr_srsg_0

Connery made a load of crap films but one of the best he was in was The Hill:

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0059274/?r ... lmg_act_58

Connery was good but Harry Andrews was outstanding. There's also Roy Kinnear. It's a top film directed as with The Anderson tapes by Sidney Lumet.

Another really good Lumet/Connery film is The Offence:
