What if her contract allowed her employer to terminate it with 28 days notice? Ex union rep?Lowbankclaret wrote: ↑Fri Feb 11, 2022 9:19 pmYour the one who is embarrassing. As an ex union representative. You use all the experience to defend your employees. Discrimination is used a lot.
In this case if I was the ladies union rep I would be instantly be using discrimination that a women in a low value wage job was discriminated against a man in a high value job being treated differently for the same perceived crime.
The value of her contract is perceived as lower this his and hence she is being discriminated against on grounds of her sex and value.
Re: Kurt Zouma
He's letting the Leicester fans do it for him. Zouma was booed enough by his own fans. Playing him in away games is more likely to get the message across.
He'd be better off playing in Spain. Pity the transfer window has shut.

Tend to agree. I have a cat. I love my cat and wouldn’t hurt it in any way. But I can’t help feeling that everyone is getting this out of perspective… If you wanted to hurt a cat by kicking it then you would kick it like a football , not in the way he “push kicked” it. This is another example of the masses jumping on an irrational bandwagon through social media…I mean how many animals are killed each day so we can Nosh them. Irrelevant to the issue but I had a stint as a criminal solicitor where I acted for a defendant who had gone cat hunting with his mate and their staffy dog, the dog wasn’t up for it so the two f……s lulled a cat on a wall into a false sense of security by stroking it and then kicked it to death down the alleyway. Luckily there were plenty of witnesses from a nearby old people’s home who enabled them to be convicted. I left the job and that type of work within weeks knowing I couldn’t act for such scumbags. I was young and green and my client’s ”defence” was that the cat was already dead on the wall. What a **** I was to even allow him to run with that story , and you can imagine how we were both made to look in cross examination. I still whince when I think about it. So you might think I would want to throw the book at Souma but I just feel that he wasn’t really trying to permanently physically damage it.

Re: Kurt Zouma
Dont get Antonio trying to make it about one bad thing v another bad thing, and for me yes it is worse abusing a dumb animal that has no idea why its being kicked and slapped in front of a child. For me words used between people of any abuse is wrong but you can walk away and take action with the police or employer, Cats whilst quite clever dont often talk about what has happened to them .
The whole post seems to have gone from do people feel that the actions of Zouma where wrong and if so what punishment he should get ,to trying to solve the worlds problems, or comparing the worlds problems. Im suprised that Sue Gray has not been asked to investigate this post

Sir Mark Todd has been filmed hitting a horse today. Be interested on your take on it.

Sorry but I don't find jokes on this subject very "funny". But each to their own.

Four more horses died at the Grand National meeting last week but no media, or social media outcry over that...
Re: Kurt Zouma
Unless you count a section of the national evening news devoted to it, on Monday. Whether it received the same levels of condemnation on social media, I don’t know.Andreshotboots wrote: ↑Wed Apr 13, 2022 3:28 pmFour more horses died at the Grand National meeting last week but no media, or social media outcry over that...

Ok then. Let's all joke about dead horses, too.

A rather large White Horse goes into a pub and asks for a pint of Lager and a Bells Whisky chaser...Middle-agedClaret wrote: ↑Wed Apr 13, 2022 5:38 pmWell - not quite dead but…
A pony goes to the doctor and tells him, “Doc, I think I’m dying. I have this terrible sore throat.”
The doctor assures him, “It’s okay—you’re just a little horse.”
The Barman handed over the drinks and said "we actually have a Whisky up on the optics named after you"
The Horse replied "Wow I have never heard of a Whisky called Eric"
