The Barn owl is outstanding Andy - top work.
Thanks Dan, your work is right up there with some remarkable images, I'm now doing it for a living, and then the fun element too; best thing I've ever done is retirement

Retired? You'll be needing an ambulance soon.

Thanks for the vote of confidence in my health

I'd have needed an ambulance had I have carried on at work, it was getting too stressful. There was no point thrashing my backside off for longer than needed, 60 was there, the pension just about made sense so why not? Live life as if you were going to snuff it tomorrow and bloody enjoy it is all I can say, I saw too much in the pandemic not to.
I still can't get a match on the Turf with the camera, but hey ho I'm earning with it and enjoying it.
And when I need that ambulance, I'll wait my turn like everyone else.

Catch bus/train to Tod walk along Rochdale canal then up to the monument then back down for a few beers in Hebden Bridge

a short while ago in was freezing in Houston at 29F, two days later walking in the park it was 73F when I took the picture, temperature swings in short times, including within 24 hours are ridiculous! I do enjoy the various views, sculptures, café, etc. they have throughout the park.

A fair climb from the canal to top of Stoodley Pike, I used to live halfway up on Harvelin Park. A great photo, thanks.
