…oh the irony!

You at the match P?………
Actually that is the boards job, I’ve never heard of a club where it’s on the fans to decide who could do a better job. I get it you’re upset, you know your poster boy is going to get some criticism on here tonight but tomorrow’s another day. Dry your eyes.spt_claret wrote: ↑Sun Apr 10, 2022 3:48 pmPathetic strawman and disingenuous failure of reading comprehension.
I said who is better. If you want a change it's on you to make the case as to who is better and why.
1. There’s plenty of threads where people, myself included, have offered several names. 2. There’s plenty of threads where posters have provided substance to why he’s been getting the team wrongspt_claret wrote: ↑Sun Apr 10, 2022 3:51 pmPeople who throw fits at an admittedly disastrous performance calling to sack the manager, who never offer any substance to their arguments and just resort to "Nope" or angry negativity, and don't have the guts to put a case forward for a replacement are cretins, yes.
I'm open to the idea of a change of manager if someone can suggest a realistic candidate that's better. If not, what the hell are they achieving beyond piling on negativity and pressure at a time the club is already facing crisis?
Good grief, stop making excuses for him. This is on him and no one else.PremierLeagueClass wrote: ↑Sun Apr 10, 2022 3:52 pmGot to feel sorry for Dyche, deserves better than this. Previous ownership have caused this.
Who will be hiring a new manager? The poster on here, or Pace?spt_claret wrote: ↑Sun Apr 10, 2022 3:51 pmPeople who throw fits at an admittedly disastrous performance calling to sack the manager, who never offer any substance to their arguments and just resort to "Nope" or angry negativity, and don't have the guts to put a case forward for a replacement are cretins, yes.

Absolutely not but to say this team is worse than the team we had in Division 4 is pathetic and laughable.
Lack of understanding…BLH_Claret wrote: ↑Sun Apr 10, 2022 3:54 pmGood grief, stop making excuses for him. This is on him and no one else.
And this is exactly what I'm talking about.
At least the division four team could pass a football to each other, we’ve embarrassed ourselves todayclaretburns wrote: ↑Sun Apr 10, 2022 3:55 pmAbsolutely not but to say this team is worse than the team we had in Division 4 is pathetic and laughable.
Unfortunately that’s truewarksclaret wrote: ↑Sun Apr 10, 2022 3:57 pmWhy is everybody so wound up about that performance. That is the true Burnley you have just seen and if you were expecting more it would have been a mini miracle. Just not got the class or the tactics to stay in this division
Already addressed this. If you know enough to insist you have better tactics and selection and Dyche needs to go you can surely offer a replacement. I've repeatedly said I'm open to the idea if people have a good name. But keep on criticising without suggesting a thing, I'm sure that's really going to help the club and team.
Got to agree mate, ****** off about that oneTHEWELLERNUT70 wrote: ↑Sun Apr 10, 2022 3:56 pmSo let's have a look at the results since Westwood was immediately brought back into the team at the expense on an inform Cork

I don't think he will.
Don’t blame the previous owners for Dyche being tactically inept and also not being able to motivate his squad after a massive win in midweek playing against bottom of the table in the most important game of the season.PremierLeagueClass wrote: ↑Sun Apr 10, 2022 3:52 pmGot to feel sorry for Dyche, deserves better than this. Carlos Corberan. Next question.spt_claret wrote: ↑Sun Apr 10, 2022 3:58 pm![]()

Can you give me a reason as to why Dyche should stay? It sounds like your basically saying let's put up with shite for fear of attracting shite?spt_claret wrote: ↑Sun Apr 10, 2022 3:58 pm![]()

I wouldn’t trust him with a budget if he believes Westwood’s hoofs are the answer to our problems, who’s to say he wouldnt just buy even more defenders and neglect centre mid constantlygtclaret wrote: ↑Sun Apr 10, 2022 4:00 pmWe lack the skill and pace to be creative. The lack of investment over the last few years has left us with a squad incapable of playing any other way. This was always going to happen, it was a question of when. If SD has the backing he requested time and time again and we still were playing like this, then I would be firmly in the Dyche out camp, as it is, our former Chairman has a lot to answer for
Do you have a link? Because all I ever see is people saying to sack him then mocking, insulting or saying "I'm just a fan" or "go look it up" when asked.
You take it as your job to do everything else from the forums. And sometimes I even agree with people who want a team change- already said I want to see us back to Pieters/Mee/Cork in but injuries prohibit that now.BLH_Claret wrote: ↑Sun Apr 10, 2022 3:53 pmActually that is the boards job, I’ve never heard of a club where it’s on the fans to decide who could do a better job. This is a manager we should be targeting along with Neil Critchley
As ever CTClaretTony wrote: ↑Sun Apr 10, 2022 4:01 pmNot much comment from me other than to say it was dire from start to finish. No desire, we did not look like a team fighting to stay in this league.
He has a proven record in the Championship which is more than any replacement is likely to have.
Absolutely agree and is an absolute strategic failure.claretgimmer wrote: ↑Sun Apr 10, 2022 4:12 pmHaving OOC players playing for a team in a match to stay in a division that will probably see them out of a job is like putting Dracula in charge of the blood bank, accept our fate and start giving some of the young lads a run out especially any promising midfielders.
Is that the same Cornet who scored the winner and secured 3 points last week?
