Yep it was the 2nd goal that gave us room and not a shot on target in the 2nd half .
Boy the fans were right up for it at the game

Yeah, it’s terrible news (if we end up being wrong) to see our team win. Not sure how I’ll sleep tonight.brexit wrote: ↑Thu Apr 21, 2022 9:48 pmTo everyone that thought sacking dyche was a mistake here is the really bad news that you were wrong. Same team same formation different attitude. Thank you Alan pace for sacking the ginger dinosaur don't care if we go down at least we are playing decent football under the U23 manager and have a chance of surviving.

It's pathological with some posters. They cannot be happy, they have to have one of their own to hate. Crabs in a bucket.jedi_master wrote: ↑Thu Apr 21, 2022 9:52 pmYeah, it’s terrible news (if we end up being wrong) to see our team win. Not sure how I’ll sleep tonight.
I'd much rather be wrong and see us finish the season unbeaten winning all our home games drawing all our away games, than I would see us go down. Just as I'd much rather be wrong about our owners and see them successfully mastermind a Brentford style reinvention than see us have money troubles.
There's some odd ones on here.

I said it the other day, I would happily see Dyche fail at every club his shadow darkens till the end of his days and end up in financial calamity due to investing in chocolate fireguards IF Burnley stay up. I loved the bloke, but I support my club. One can be disgusted with how a legend like Dyche has just been treated whilst accepting the need to move on.spt_claret wrote: ↑Thu Apr 21, 2022 9:58 pmIt's pathological with some posters. As you say - some will never, ever be happy.

Couldn’t go tonight due to a bug and missed Spurs due to Covid so I’m being a bit of a reverse lucky charm.
Found Roberts on Sky interesting suggesting that the players had been given a little more freedom to be themselves.
Great performance but needed Romeu to make that early miss, we have given away too many free headers this season.

No offence CC, but can you miss the rest of the season please.CrosspoolClarets wrote: ↑Thu Apr 21, 2022 10:07 pmCouldn’t go tonight due to a bug and missed Spurs due to Covid so I’m being a bit of a reverse lucky charm.

Agree on Roberts that 1st goal was sublime, and we might now finally get to see the CR that Wales fans rave about.
I'm also sure the coaching staff will be addressing the marking from set-pieces, on another night that could have led to our downfall.
