Doesn't seem worth it really, might as well leave him and have him 100% for next week.

Why do Burnley fans have this mentality?
Re: Match thread - Burnley v Aston Villa
Quite possibly, but they'll be plenty of twists and turns still, from all 3 in the mix.

Re: Match thread - Burnley v Aston Villa
What do they say when we beat Man City that time, or when we beat Villa in other seasons?
"Money doesn't gurantee success"
It's either one or the other.
Re: Match thread - Burnley v Aston Villa
Just a silly thing to say. We are top of form table, they are second bottom.

Hopefully Villa will be on the beach when we play them away
Re: Match thread - Burnley v Aston Villa
People were saying on here Argentine international Buendia was a waste of money, touch of class. They've got quality all over the pitch

Cornet coming on... Lennon.
Re: Match thread - Burnley v Aston Villa
Lennon get out ******* wide and give Taylor an option, just hiding in midfield

Might as well give Costelloe a run out. Remover when Dyche was forced to play McNeil. Bringing Cornet on but if he is carrying some sort of an injury why risk him ?

Seems a bit of a needless risk to being Cornet on

Re: Match thread - Burnley v Aston Villa
Can't we just abandon the match and it goes 3-0 in their favour anyway? Or is that just Fifa?

Can you think of a worse performance from a player than Lennon today?
He should be ashamed.
Taylor stopped passing to him in the end

Why do footballers cover their mouths when they're feigning injury.
Don't they realise EVERYONE IN THE WORLD knows what they're doing and saying.

Not seen this so far this season.
Who was that really embarassing one a year or two ago?

Either money buys success or it doesn't. Can't be both.

The ref, lack of money, what else are the excuses for our **** poor abject performance today? The stars are not aligned? The moon is in retrograde?

Looks like we’re “managing the game” here to not concede more for the three games left.

Re: Match thread - Burnley v Aston Villa
Who is blaming the ref four our performances? His shocking performance is nothing to do with how we have played today. His performance is about him, not an excuse for this scoreline.ClaretAndJew wrote: ↑Sat May 07, 2022 4:33 pmThe ref, lack of money, what else are the excuses for our **** poor abject performance today? Yep we could really use favours from Arsenal and Leicester tomorrow, just a bad day at the office this afternoon, but it couldn't have come at a worse time.
