A bad day, but as I said earlier plenty of twists and turns yet. Pleased Cornet back on scoresheet, could do with him chipping in another couple of goals now.

Villa are far better than Newcastle

Hint for Mr Jackson

Lennon may not be great on right but absolutely useless on the left

Good to see Wolves get a very late equaliser, gives the Arsenal more incentive against DL.

They have the same number of points

Agree about Lennon though

Those missed chances to get back in it first half really cost us today. Villa were clinical. Second half we looked like we gave up as soon as Tarks left the field.

Sat outside Jacks House in Tod with a pint, left the game in the 85th minute. I can’t be arsed with what a madhouse it’ll be on here tonight so I’ll leave my review as follows:

Wout Weghorst is ******* hopeless.

Chins up, and let us all pray for Leeds to lose and lose and lose as without Tarky, God help us.

Did you send this an hour ago?
No, 4:15 pm. Yes, just after Villa scored their 3rd.

Eric Clapton was good. Support was Andy Fairweather Low. AFL also came on and did a 30 minute acoustic set with Clapton. And, yes, Wonderful Tonight was in the (almost) 2 hour show, plus both the acoustic and the electric versions of Layla.

Tickets were bought Sept 2020 for May 2021. I guess I'm an optimist, I was thinking covid-19 would all be over by then. When it was postponed 12 months - and Clapton came out with his anti-vax stuff - I wondered whether the show would ever go ahead. I'm glad that it did. Clapton was "pacing himself." The first 30 mins were generally slow stuff. I also felt one of his band was taking the lead on a lot of the fast guitar riffs. Worth going, nevertheless.
