Everton have 3 winnable games left in A Watford H Palace H Brentford Hopefully one or 2 of them can can nick something. Leeds probably have only 1 fixture you can see them winning A Brentford lets assume they also pick up a point somewhere so if we say 2 wins for everton, 1 win and a draw for Leeds puts them both on 38pts. if we can get 39 its unlikely we go down, if we get stuck on 38(1 win and a draw) it may come down to goal difference which isnt a problem with Leeds but if they somehow drag themselves clear and its us and everton it might be very close. I think we need a minimum of 4 points to take it to the last day where due to GD we should be favorites to stay up. its in our own hands 2 wins in the next 3 games and we wont be caught anything less and its going to the last day. its going to be close I just hope its close between the other 2 and we are sitting pretty on 40pts come the last day. does anybody know what happens if pts and GD are level after the last games does it go to goals scored or head to head.

Bump 38 will indeed be the magic number, although it might be less. But 38 guarantees PL footy next season, now as to whether we can get to that total is a different question.

In fact 40 might not be enough for someone…
If we get to 40 I don’t think we will go down. However Leeds and Everton could well get there too. All of us are on decent runs of form.
