Don’t think they can announce anything until the deal is done can they?northeastclaret wrote: ↑Mon May 30, 2022 1:46 pmWouldn’t surprise me if he didn’t sign now, taking a ridiculous amount of time to announce it , and therefore plenty of time for Kompany to consider other opportunities and whether the club is stable enough.

Nixon also said earlier today 'Might depend when some people are in the country' when asked when he thinks VK will be announced. Also that there is 'fine print, no worries on it'.agreenwood wrote: ↑Mon May 30, 2022 1:47 pmIt could well be click bait ********. No idea if that website if the Belgian equivalent of HITC etc.

Doesn't seem to have any sources or substance beyond "he might be off to Borussia Monchengladbach" so hoping it's just to get clicks.agreenwood wrote: ↑Mon May 30, 2022 1:47 pmIt could well be click bait ********. No idea if that website if the Belgian equivalent of HITC etc.

Borrusia want Lucien Favre don’t they? I thought they were confident he would choose them ahead of returning to Nice. Seems like any interest in Kompany as suggested in that Belgian site would be only if that fell through.

How many days was Buchan in charge for Tony? I remember going down to meet him at the Centre Spot when he was appointed and he did a Q and A session. I bet you were there for that?ClaretTony wrote: ↑Mon May 30, 2022 11:31 amI wouldn’t compare any appointment to Buchan to be fair.

Appointed in the summer and lasted 11 league games. Strange bloke but he had his issues.
I was there. He came across well that night but wasn’t in a good state when he left.

Crikey, 11 games!!? It feels like a whole lot less looking back. I do remember knowing a lady who was on the leadership team at a local primary school who told me at the time that Buchan had put his children's names down to start school there when he was appointed, but his wife came in virtually the next day and said they wouldn't now be starting because they wouldn't be staying and that was some time before he actually left.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Mon May 30, 2022 2:18 pmAppointed in the summer and lasted 11 league games. Nothing would surprise me but he was very much a ‘yes’ one day and a ‘no’ the next day sort of bloke.Dark Cloud wrote: ↑Mon May 30, 2022 2:24 pmCrikey, 11 games!!? I remember having a good chat with him down at Aldershot before the game. He was brilliant that day but then he could ignore you the next day.

Nixon just said he’s told it’s just a case of waiting for the announcement and that he imagines the ‘main players need to be in town for the big reveal’ - who do we think he’s referring to?

Pace is probably wanting the venue to be in Hale , Cheshire, so that he can launch the second successful Hale and Pace partnership

Probably the same people who were worried about the Orsic signing taking forever... To be fair tho I don’t see any panicking yet…. Just a few who are naturally a little worried as to whether it’s really IS happening, what with all the rumours and “good sources” telling us one thing day after day, and the lack of a press conference telling us something else.Lancasterclaret wrote: ↑Mon May 30, 2022 3:18 pmThe only people who don't think its sorted are one site in Belgium without a twitter verification tick, and a bunch of panicking Burnley fans
As Burnley fans, they would be absolutely justified in believing nothing until CT sticks the article on here with the obligatory foto of him holding our scarf aloft.

Favre has a turned down Monchengladbach. Maybe this throws a spanner in the works, they are interested in Kompany.
