It’s funny how we turn on players that are departing. He certainly wasn’t **** either.
He missed that one at Villa but I think it was Mings who did well to get the block in. We simply didn’t play to his strengths and after his early passion for the cause I think he got frustrated.
It would have been part of his deal anyway that he could leave if we were relegated. For what it’s worth I think he would have thrived next season in the Premier League if we had stayed up, under a progressive footballing manager.

He's far too slow for the Premier League. That could've been mitigated if his strength was commensurate with his size but it isn't. That said, I think he would have been very good for us in the Championship. Not sure about the point on turning on departing players - Tarkowski and Mee for example have been widely praised.
